Anyone else get impatient waiting on new growth to fully form!? lol 😂
So, my prayer plant just bloomed but now it looks like the stem it was growing on is all dried up? Should I trim this back or just leave it?
I got my first plant today
Help Planta babies! I’ve been keeping this plant close to the stove but never near a lit burner, does this look like heat damage? Or is it something scarier that I need to trim immediately? Thank you in advance!
Just looking for some advice. I have this Red Edge Peperomia that I'm trying to bring back to life after it was left out in the last winter & killed nearly the whole plant off. I've managed to bring it back a bit, i.e, new leaves have grown back. However, the other week I noticed half of the main stem had rotted off sideways & so I'm now wondering if there's any way to cut or propergate the 2-3 leaf sections growing from the stem so they will grow their own roots & can be potted up to continue to grow. I'm just worried the other half of the stem will rot too & I'll lose the whole thing 😔😪🤧
Thinking of cutting a vine off of one or both of these, chopping individual nodes, and propagating one or both. Thoughts? I’m scared yall I’ve never tried propagating before but I want to give it a shot
Interested in this Alocasia Bambino to add to my growing (pun intended) collection! Anyone have one? Any suggestions? Is Bubbleblooms on Amazon a trusted seller?
I think I figured some of you scammers out. Going on Facebook marketplace offering plants for sale, and all you did was swap cache pots with something you picked up at Trader Joe’s! I’m onto you! Just kidding. However I do think that there’s a scheme here set up by Todd.
Spring is here & the Monsteras are telling me..

Hi everyone! Hope everyone’s having a sunny afternoon! I had a question for everyone; What do you do to prevent fungus gnats on newly bought plants/or how do you tackle them when they are already there?
Treasured Thursday is all about the plants that hold a little extra meaning. Which plant in your collection carries a story special to you 💚
Got this beautiful plant for half price at Lowe’s. 30 dollars! Definitely needed/s some pruning and love, but I bet I can care for it just fine. Name recommendations, anyone?
I buy a ridiculous amount of soil and spend sooo much time repotting this time of year, but it’s the best feeling when they’re fresh in new pots 😌
Hi all My Japanese maple arrived today and have potted it on my balcony Question…that stick to help support it. It’s taped in a few places, Do I remove this now or later or never??
Hi guys. The app has advised me to move my orchid further away from the window but I can’t see how to change the distance from window setting. Google search suggestions are inaccurate. Any ideas. Thanks in advance
Looking at IKEAs website it seems like they have plants on very reasonable pricing. The closest IKEA to me is a 90min drive so I thought I’ll check with folks here if they have any knowledge of the quality. I’d rather avoid the long trip if the plants are actually in bad shape; not well cared for, etc. Anyonke has seen them? Bought plants from there?
Got these cuttings back in September rescued from rotting in muddy water. Once the roots were nice and healthy I potted in soil.. they almost died. I put them back in water almost 2 months ago and are thriving. I’m so scared to put them back in soil, but everything I read says they won’t survive long term in water.. Also, how would I even pot these..? Send help PLS!
