OK my ZZ had a couple branches that were loose so I figured something fell on it and they broke but then I realized that the branches just pulled out of the dirt and are brown and mushy. Any idea what caused this? Iâm so sad.đ€đȘŽ

I was recently gifted Meyer lemon and limequat trees and I am DESPERATELY trying to make sure I keep them happy. They have a grow light, and are also in a south facing window. I put them in my plant list, but the watering/misting suggestions seem a little crazy. Planta is telling me not to water the Meyer lemon for a month, and not to mist it at all. Is that right? Everything Iâve read says they should be misted almost daily⊠Any tips for a beginner citrus grower are greatly appreciated!

The cashier at a nursery once told me not to fertilize my indoor plants during the winter months. Is this a thing?? I live in ND so winter is basically Oct-April. I have grow lights on every day through the winter. Many of them have been shedding leaves but growing back a little more full with fertilizing so I donât really want to stop!! But also want to give them a rest if they need it??

kind of a random post but thoughts on this giant aloe? i do think i need to add more soil to the pot but i cannot figure out why the leaves are so droopy? i have only watered her twice since the beginning of november and i was watering about once a month in the warmer seasons. do the leaves just get so big they fall like this? also the leaves are firm and there is newer growth in the middle (but has slowed dramatically since i live in Pennsylvania and the sun hasnât shined consistently in weeks) i feel like the base looks rotted but itâs been this way since my bf almost killed it 2 years ago and it only gets repotted in July and at the time the roots looked great. i hate this plant but my bf loves it so i try to keep it happy but i donât love the way it looks right now đ

Iâve had this lemon lime philodendron for about two weeks now, and it has a lot of new growth but the leaves donât seem to be unfurling. It has been under a grow light, about maybe 8 inches from it and slightly to the side. Does anyone know if thereâs something wrong with it or does it just take that long for the leaves to unfurl?
