Whatâs goodie my Planta family it has been a while but I have a question for yall do think it is normal for goats to eat ..um âŠum poison ivy like is that dangerous for them or just a snack for me to start stressing aboutđ
Repotted her last weekend because she was stagnant and not growing, but leaves were beautifully green. Now i am seeing yellowing đ©. Should i have not repotted her. Her roots looked healthy and rhizomes intact and plump.
Fellow plant lovers, I brought my plants inside last Thursday. Thank you for all your sage advice about the timing! Iâm still figuring out how to arrange so many plants around the house, and today I had a little tree frog jump out at me. What a pleasant surprise! Iâve had a summer full of critters in my plants, and Iâm always happy to see them. I don't do snakes though. đžđż

How do I trim the Lilies of The Nile? Theyâve gone crazy in a half wine barrel!!
How do I trim the long leaves & the flower shoots?
Thinking about getting a orchid but I live in the California mountains. Should I put it in my bathroom where it will most likely have good humidity?
this is a Dieffenbachia i received recently, but iâm not sure what variety it is, anyone know or guess?
Hi! (Ignore the background Iâm moving tomorrow) I just wanted to get some help with this monstera I got, it doesnât really seem to be growing any big leaves and I was wondering what to do about it. Shout I cut it and propagate? Or how can I best save this and make it look nice and not just like a bunch of vines? (Iâm new to this) any help and advice would be appreciated, thanks!
( same plant in both photos) Hi everyone! I recently rescued this Monstera and repotted her, and now Iâm trying to figure out where sheâll be happiest. Iâm debating between keeping her indoors or outdoors. Indoors, the temperature is more stable, but the light is definitely lower. Outdoors, she gets much brighter light overall, including direct morning sun from about 8â10 AM, followed by bright indirect light for the rest of the day. Iâm in San Diego, where temperatures are currently around 76â80°F (24â27°C) during the day and around 65â68°F (18â20°C) at night. Do you think the brighter outdoor spot would be better for her, or would the more stable indoor environment be preferable after being recently rescued and repotted? Iâd love to hear what you would choose and why, especially if you grow Monsteras in a similar climate.
This is my Golden Pothos, back in July I put her on the wall in my bedroom (the window next to her is south facing). As you can see, sheâs loosing leaves and not growing. I think I need to move her but Iâm not exactly sure where would be the best. Any suggestions?
This is my sunroom. Itâs 6x8 feet with two SANSI 36W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light Bulb facing opposite directions in the low ceiling (not pictured; I replaced the one in the picture) Do I mark these as under a âgrow lightâ under the app? I donât want planta to assume they are only getting a few hours of winter light a day. Not to mention they get sun light from all directions except north.
My very 1st Monstera
Wanting to make some moves- would it be a good idea to move one of my pothos to the bathroom? It would be more humid, but all I have for light is a skylight. Iâm not sure if it would be happy with that kind of light.
Finally potted my mini babe, propagated her in water for like 17 or so days. First time Iâm doing this so weâll see if Iâm successful⊠if not I have a friend who can do it herself đ
Hey all. I have an Aglaonema Aurora Siam that recently gave me an almost completely red leaf. Itâs obviously gorgeous but is this normal / anything to be concerned about? Iâm assuming maybe because itâs newer growth it will eventually settle down to be more green like the other leaves, but all of my new leaves up to now have opened up looking ânormalâ (green in the middle, red on the edges) so Iâm a little surprised!
Happy Tuesday đđż
Sheâs gonna be a stunner âšđâš
