Had this gal for a year now and trimmed her up only a short time ago. She seems to be doing well after the trimming but I would like to know if we are keeping her too long? Most pictures I see of other inch plants are much shorter and fuller.
Found this weird bumpy thing in the middle of my Peace lily’s leaves. Anyone know what might cause it. No signs of pests anywhere.
Can anyone identify this plant? Planta says it’s a jade plant, but I’m honestly not sure because it has no wooden stems. Unless it’s just in its infancy.
Hi all, I am very new to plants; I did my first watering on Thursday last week, added some new soil where recommended. I don’t add any to my cat palm (mistake) and she’s sick, but also completely dry? My monstera (here) said it’s bordering dry/moist and I’m not sure if I water’d correctly. I just placed the plants in my kitchen sink, pressure on low with the “spray feature” so it was like rain. I was worried about over watering but it’s just been a few days and they’re nearly dry. Advice on watering of what to do now?
Question about thrips.. how long after treatment and isolation do you move them back into their community? My original treatment included new soil and I added systematic pest control. I hate these little suckers🦟
Hello! A shelf fell that I had plants on that fell onto plants I had in the corner in the floor 😩 of course some fell onto a plant and broke 2 of the stems. Is there a way I could save them?

Silly question, but I’m trying to propagate my snake plant for a friend, but what happens to the bottom part of the original snake plant that was cut? Will it rot if I don’t remove it or can I leave it as is? Thanks!
I did it, be it good or bad, I ordered another string of pearls after reviving a few strands from my poor first one. Wish me luck lol
I need advice. Do you all think I should go to a bigger pot or wait? The roots are starting to come through the bottom a lot? I repotted about a yr ago.

Hi! I’m new here. I haven’t ever really been great with plants, but I love them all the same. Question for y’all. My covered balcony is mostly shaded with a few sun spots in the day (faces north in Southern California.) I’ve got a few grow lights out there to assist my 🌱 friends, however, I don’t know how to indicate that in Planta. On its own my balcony appears to be unwelcoming to plants that need sun, but I know with the lights most of them are getting more light. How have you differentiated that in the app so that it knows that I have more light? Thanks in advance.
It is normal for new leafs to come through the stem? ( this reminds me of giving birth/ c section lol)
Hey guys, just having a small issue with my spider plants.. they seem healthy and are growing new little leaves that get longer each day, but for the past week I’ve noticed the end of some of the leaves going yellow, brown and crispy on both plants, what could be causing this? They seem healthy otherwise, just worried for the ends😢
Last October I cut my Swiss cheese apart and trimmed her up real good! Had hundreds of nodes … I threw it in sphagnum moss, in five different containers… ziplocks and rotisserie containers. 😅 I left it and forgot it…. Haven’t opened it since… this bag I was giving to a friend. Thinking about selling in little bunches in a 2” pots for a couple bucks.
