Can anyone identify this plant? Planta says it’s a jade plant, but I’m honestly not sure because it has no wooden stems. Unless it’s just in its infancy.

My jade plant is still a baby and doesn’t have any wooden stems yet but it tends to grow more upward than out. I don’t know the most about plants so maybe they can do both? not really sure, hope this helps a little!!

Yes, it’s a jade plant, it’s just young :) This is a picture of one that I grew from a leaf of my bigger jade plant. It will develop wooden stems over time.

It’s possible it’s a baby jade, which is a breed of Jade rather than just a young one. Sadly it’s not an option on Planta at the moment, but I suggest looking it up online. I haven’t had a baby jade yet, but I have jades, and I love them. Very hardly and practically thrive on neglect. You might wanna look up the difference between the two in case it needs to be watered more or less or needs less direct sunlight than a regular jade. Hope this helps!

They’re still jades, just characterized by looking like baby ones. It has smaller leaves and is bunched more like an echeveria than other jades. Planta sadly won’t let me send a link but I’m sure a quick google search would suffice on helping you figure out if it’s a baby jade or not, and how to care for it
