Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy almost Kwanzaa to any who celebrate! My sister got me this plant and is it labeled Tillandsia Cyanea and the plant mom at the shop advised it is an air plant (but it is in soil?) and that I should keep it moist but not wet and in part sun part shade. But when I search that name and the pic on Planta, it comes up as Wallisia Cyanae Pink Quill, a bromeliad. Can someone help me identify and care for this beauty?

No Misting? Since Planta updated, I no longer see misting tasks. Am I not supposed to mist in winter months?I have due to the heat but just curious.

My husband knows me well!! 🤣🤣

A holiday miracle! My poor little pothos prop, which was the only one that made it, off of the mother plant that died of root rot, has finally sprouted a new leaf after being quiet for a while. I was beginning to worry and then went to check on the little guy and was so happy to see a new little sprout!! 🥹😁 *plant squeals* 👏🏼

WOW!! I'm in Santa 🎅 shock! 715 PM Speedy Delivery shows up at our door with... THIS gorgeous little 😍 beautiful Scarlett Bromeliad!🥰🪴🎄💕 I'm beyond touched that my family actually noticed the pain I went thru this year (it's been rough for this little hippie) and really showed their love! hi yall. a very kind neighbor trusted me with her hibiscus over the winter. i brought it in about a 6 wks ago and have watered it once but it’s dropping a few yellowing leaves a day and has these white spots. Something’s gotta be eating it and they’ve been there for weeks. why can’t i see any bugs?
