New growth on my golden pothos! But I saw this on Valentina😔 what happened?!
I finally replanted the Twins today, they were looking just sad and not very happy. I purchased them end of February & wanted to give them time to adjust from my office to my home. when I removed them from the original planter, the roots had formed a circle similar to the planter🫢 They were just sitting wet in there even though I saw the water draining from the holes. I also have a plant light which is on a timer for 14 hours - starting at 5:30am. I also have a humidifier on warm low-medium must overnight when the plant light shuts off. My mom told me to play music so I play nature sounds overnight on Pandora for them. We’re so dramatic ☺️
Lookie here‼️ My little anthurium has what I’m guessing is a flower! It was such a surprise, like a gift, which is super special to me. And I need some clarification on its actual name. Is it a white veined clarinervium, or is it the ID I now have, which is a crystallanium? It has been ID as both, and I don’t know which one it actually is. TIA! PS. Does anybody know why it’s stems are not erect? As you can see, the stems lay very low, as if the leaves are too heavy for it. It also pulls its leaves back towards its stems, which looks rather strange to me. TIA, again…🤭!
Does anyone know if isopod frass (bug poop hehe) is beneficial in any way to amend with soil? I grow a lot of isopod colonies with my boyfriend, and when the time comes to change their soil I was hoping I could repurpose it for my plants? Their soil consists of peat, spaghnum, perlite, lecca, calcium, leaf litter and orchid bark.
I was offered a job today after being out of work for 11 months. Yay! Big step forward in my career and a huge weight lifted. I am going to buy myself something pretty to celebrate, but I also can't wait to see my new office space to have plants there too!!! I know with Mother's Day this weekend all the nurseries will be crazy. But I have to celebrate!
Last time i posted her she was just a few tiny leaves. Now look how much shes grown 😳 😍

Feature Friday What’s the star of your collection right now? Give it the feature it deserves 😍

“Bloom into spring” in pictures
does anyone know how to update location in planta? it still has me in my old city with different weather conditions and i cannot find how to update it 😭
Vacation mode? Is there a setting in the app to indicate vacation mode? If not would be a nice feature to have a start and stop date when we go away where the notifications and plant guidance is on hold.
Do these roots look OK to you guys? she's a grocery store rescue and I had to trim some gross, stringy roots out of the pure sphagnum it was in. i've put her in a mix of perlite, bark, and some sphagnum for retention, and i've decided not to water because the sphagnum was moist and affected roots looked rotted. I'm also considering cutting down the spike to streamline recovery. Any tips welcome, this is my first ever orchid
Online said to cut the standing ones but I love way it looks will it hurt it
I know you’re suppose to prune the Poka Dot Plant, but I think she’s gorgeous standing tall and proud! 🫠🥹💖👏🏼 Anyone else love these plants?
I noticed this pattern on my monstera today, it almost looks like marbling or variegation? None of the other leaves are like this, it isn’t brittle, and it has been growing like crazy the past few weeks. When I got it, it didn’t say anything about the plant being variegated. I’m unsure if this is a problem or its actual variegation. I’d love some input!
Had to bring some of my outdoor plants, inside! Because it’s -3 C still here at night! So now my office is a greenhouse! 😆🙊💖👏🏼
Thoughtful Thursday! What’s the most meaningful plant someone has ever given you? 💚
I know these guys are infamous for leaf drop. But I feel like the amount of leaf drop on mine might be a bit much. Any care tips to reduce this? Do they like to stay more on the moist side? Brighter light? North facing window, northern hemisphere
