Ummmm why does my Neem Oil look like this in the bottle? I don’t know if I should trust this on my plants. Is this why I should shake it before use? I have another bottle that looks like this. Is that normal? Bc it’s going in the trash after this photo😧

I found this plant growing by a tree on my walk. Does anyone know what it is? Planta says arrowhead, FYI it was in the wild. I didn't steal it from someone!

Just got this cutting from a jade plant. I’m thinking either put it in water and let the roots grow
or put it in a small pot with soil and let it grow. Let me know what I should do! Thank you 😊

Does “lime sensitive” grossly translate to acid loving? I heard in passing perlite can raise pH in soil and I’ve worked too hard on my calatheas to give up now. I make soil but plant almost everything in a generally airy mix, i was thinking of an acidic additive that could be added to these whiny lime and fluoride sensitive babies

Has anyone ever used Azamax? I’ve read good things about it for root mealies and mites. Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are. My current rotation include rose shield, systemic granules, mitex by bonide, and spinosad. Works beautifully for thrips and mites but im struggling with this new onset of root mealies. Tia~

Does this look like a pest or dirt/dust? 😅

These baby zebra plants were gifted to me, how long does it take for them to grow roots? And do I keep it mostly dry? I’m seeing conflicting info on how much to water. I’m sure this isn’t the best type of soil but it’s all I had for now.

About 2 months ago I got gifted these from a friend who was propagating them. I need help with how to help them grow! I’m thinking the pots too big for them and maybe to put them in something smaller and eventually putting them back in
not sure how to help them grow better please help! Also how do I know if I’m over watering or not enough water?? She told me these are pothos as well.

Someone help please. I’m not sure if this plant died or if it can still be saved 😭. The leave is dying, the stem feels good, but there’s not activity so I’m preparing for the worst. Thank you in advance!

Strange question I have a 10,000 lux light that I use in the morning to help with my circadian rhythm (mimics sunlight exposure). I was wondering whether this could be used as a grow light? Unsure of what the difference is between a grow light and regular lightbulb.

Hi everyone! I got this plant about 2 weeks ago, it was perfectly healthy when I got it. Since the tips of the plants have got these brown patches, any advice on why these have happened and how to stop it from spreading? It’s about 6feet from the window in full light. But I do live in the UK so currently not loads of light and chilly. It’s also not near any heater nor AC Thanks!!

Hi! I was wondering if this was part sun, part shade or full sun? This is a southwest facing window; however I put these window film covers on. The app says full sun. Some of my plants that require part sun and part shade have been doing well in this location so far. Suggestions?

Are there any Fittonia people here? I need some help 😅 My husband brought her home as a surprise for me on Monday night from Lowe’s. I know they say to wait to repot, but the soil was sopping wet at the time and had moldy growth-plus I never trust big box store soil - so I did repot her right away into an appropriately sized planter (with drainage) with a mix of 4 parts coco coir, 2 parts coco chips, 2 parts perlite, 1 part charcoal, and a small bit of worm castings. The roots looked healthy at the time and didn’t have any rot or fungal issues. The potting mix was already really moist from me having to soak the coco coir beforehand, so I did not water right then. The next morning (Tuesday), she flopped hard and the soil felt just barely damp, so I thoroughly watered the soil with distilled water, but saw no improvement. I read that it might just be shock and would take a few days to improve, so, I set her about 1 foot away from my North facing window (technically NW but it never gets direct sun), next to a humidifier and on top of a pebble tray in a butterfly net cage (for quarantine purposes). The window is sealed off from any drafts and my Alocasia has been really happy there, so I thought it’d be a good spot. Now it’s Thursday morning and she looks just as sad as she did on Tuesday. The butterfly net cage basically acts as a sheer curtain, so I thought that would also help prevent any exposure to direct sun that everyone says to avoid. The soil is still evenly moist. No signs of pests that I can tell; the quarantine cage is precautionary and the brown specks are just leftover coco coir that I need to brush off. I do see one crispy looking yellow-colored leaf, and a couple others with edges or tips that are crisping up. Some of the other leaves feel really limp/soft to the touch whereas others seem to be firming up again but some are also curling a little. My hygrometer reads the humidity at 79% and the temperature at 66°F. Where did I go wrong here? 😅 Did I overwater? Is this just a matter of waiting a while longer or do I change something? I consider myself a pretty experienced plant person at this point, but historically I have bad about nurturing plants to death when they have transplant shock. Thanks in advance!
