Anyone know why my Calathea Ornata has curling leaves? Light issue or watering issue? TIA

Hello! These are my current house plants! My baby spider was a gift from a student of mine and she’s definitely struggling! I wanted to propagate the spider babies so I also bought myself a mature plant that’s beginning to produce! Yesterday I added my golden pothos to my plant family! I know nothing about plant care. My method of watering is just water as it feels right and I haven’t killed the spiders yet so I’m just going to keep on keeping on I guess? lol

Hello! So I am SUPER new to plants but I was just gifted a few to get started and I have some questions! First off, I was given a Wandering Jew and my family friend said that the plant has been struggling for a while and she’s recently repotted it in hopes of saving it, however I’ve had it for about a month now and it still seems to be struggling. I’ve read that they’re very thirsty plants and need lots of water, but I don’t want to drown it. I also recently realized that the pot she had it in does not have any drainage holes, so I think the roots are probably suffering because the bottom of the plant looks sick but the top seems super healthy🥺 I’m going to switch over to a pot with actual drainage, but I’ve seen a lot of posts about propagating Wandering Jews and I’m wondering if that’s what I should do or if I should just trim the bad roots once I repot it. My second thing is I was given a Devil’s Ivy, however I noticed that there’s two different types of leaves on the plant. So I think she put Devil’s Ivy and Heartleaf Philodendron in the same pot, but I’ve heard that Devil’s Ivy can be somewhat invasive so I’m not sure if I should try to separate them because it seems like the heartleaf is struggling a little bit!🥺 Finally, she gave me a Poinsettia and I am TERRIFIED of killing it because I’ve heard how difficult they are😭 Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated!! First picture is Noodle (Wandering Jew) Second picture is Herbert (Devil’s Ivy/Heartleaf Philodendron) Third picture is Richard (Poinsettia)

Hi everyone, do you know any working way to water plants while being away? Most of my plants are succulents and they are drought resistant, but I have some others that can’t wait 3 weeks between watering. Thanks! Giusy

What do you guys use to water plants? I have always used tab! I have heard that it can harm your plants in the long run. I live out in the country so I don’t know if my tab water is truly different. Thoughts?

Hey Planter peeps! If I have a ceiling fan running 24 hours a day in my 10x10 home office, should I be marking yes to the near ventilation question for all of my plants? TYIA!

Pharaohs mask has this long stemmed leaf. Every leaf that comes with it dies. Do I just keep cutting off the dead leaf and let it be single? lol I wish these grew more out of the shoot so it’s not just one single leaf lol. Unless u know how I can?? Btw this was about the 5th time I’ve cut a fellow dead leaf off Thank u

I found these reptile UV lights in the garage. Would they be suitable for grow lights? I don’t have the box or anything, so I don’t have any specific details on them, but any help would be great!

Ok any help would be great. I just saved these from going into a dumpster and I'm good with hoyas so I'm not worried about him but the other one scares me. I brought them home cleaned the roots and put them back in pots. Watered them with rain water and hb-101 to help with the roots. So what else do you all think I need to do the make them happy?? Thanks for any help

What’s your ideal moss pole set up? Do you DIY or buy one pre-made (where cuz nursery’s are $$$). How do to attach the plant and ‘train’ it to grow into it? Do you still provide nutrients in the water that you feed into the plant? How often do you need to replace the moss/make sure no fungus is growing? Anything else I need to know about moss poles? Thanks!

Im not sure what’s going on in here… looks like there’s a whole new baby plant coming out of the leaf? Does anyone know how to separate these without killing them? As it’s making the plant not be able to stand and will eventually break because of the weight
