Hi! I need some help identifying a plant. I initially thought it was a monstera but the leaves are a lot thicker than any monstera I have seen. It also has slight variegation. I definitely need some help with this one.

Does anyone know what kind of plants these are? They were given to a friend of mine and we’re trying to figure out what they are.

I just planted fatsia Japonica in the ground and everything I ready says, “
give it a long drink of water”. That is way too vague for a newbie like me. Can anyone weigh in on this? I ran the hose for 5 minutes each. Is that enough?

Does anyone pay for planta premium? And is it worth the annual $30 or whatever?

I always admire these split leaf philodendrons on our neighborhood walks 💚 so beautiful how whoever owns them, was able to get them to grow this happy and large outdoors! Makes me want to try it lol, have to see how they fair in the zone 8b wet winters. 😬

I saw this literally 24 hours prior and it was maybe 2 inches tall. It’s grown at least three more inches. What is this?!

I think my rainbow is very healthy, it’s growing many new leaves as if it’s changing leaves, flowers aren’t longer blooming but many new leaves are growing.

Help please! My Croton that I saved from someone a few months back was doing well but still continues to have browning leaves at the bottom of the plant that fall off easily. I follow all the care tips and have done all my research but don't know why he's still unhappy. I initially thought it was burning from too much direct sunlight and moved him further from direct sunlight and it's not helping. I was hoping someone could shed some light. This is only my second Croton and I'm struggling to find the balance with him! Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

What plants have you had success with at work? I work in the middle of a hospital (nowhere near a window) but feel as though at least one small live plant is necessary for my sanity. I don’t plan on using a plant light because there is PLENTY of fluorescent lighting at my desk
suggestions/ success stories? đŸȘŽ

Hi everyone. Long time, no post. I felt like I should pop back in because I know a lot of us here are big fans of Orange Lake Nursery. I don’t think I’ve seen a list of favorite online sellers that doesn’t have their name on it. Frank, Stacey, and the dogs are okay. Last I heard, they don’t have electricity or internet however. I’m incredibly heartbroken to say that their nursery was wiped out earlier today by a tornado. And on top of that, they remain in the path of the coming hurricane. It hurts so much to think of what they’re going through right now. And I’m sure they’re not the only nursery experiencing similar tragedies these past few weeks, not to mention all the homes, other businesses, and facilities that have been or will be affected. I don’t know what else to say, but I wanted to share here where other people might understand why I’m heartbroken for a plant shop that I’ve never even been to personally. I also figure that some of us on here, myself included, may have open plant orders with OLN right now. While I haven’t heard an official announcement or any talk about it from others yet, I’m going to prepare for the possibility that the plants I ordered are no longer sellable. I think the best we can offer them at the moment is our patience and understanding. I’ve heard some talk about a GoFundMe for them, but I don’t know if that’s actually in the works. I can keep anyone who’s interested updated as I learn more. And to anyone else affected by the tornados and hurricanes, my heart goes out to you too and I wish you safety and security 💚
