Heyy, Ive just bought a self watering pot ( string comes out of the bottom and sits in water) for my spineless yucca, but all it has done is drench the soil :/ so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. To much water maybe 🤷 or if these pots are just useless. Thanks for any help and advice

How do you guys know when your plants have pests? What do you use to prevent them and what do I do if there any? I feel like I would know if they were infested, I just brought this new one home Sunday and she was on clearance with some brown spots so I want to make sure she’s good!

Hey all, I just got this plant from a family member. I’m still really new to plants. I was reading that pruning can help the plant be fuller and less lanky. I just wasn’t sure how to do that, how much to cut off, etc. Some advice is much appreciated! ☺️

I got a desk grow light today,its brand is LBW and it had good reviews. It’s on Black Friday sale on Amazon for $18. It’s very bright, and you can see the different spectrums. The only thing someone may not like is there is no timer. You can get the upgrade with I think 72 LEDs as opposed to 48, it has a timer for around 5 bucks more. But 5 bucks wasn’t in my budget this month. 😉
Best online shop to order plants from? Specifically looking for butterwort and bird of paradise. Don’t want anything too pricey or poorly packaged.

I was hoping to get some advice for my Aloe. I’ve read where some people tend to overwater when they listen to the watering schedule on this app for Aloe Vera. I suspected that I was overwatering it last month so I skipped until this time but I’m not sure whether to wait longer still? The leaves are very firm still yet the soli is dry. And mine is super green in color?? A lot of other peoples aloe is not that green usually and just makes me worry that I’m doing something wrong??
I feel like it is too early for my Christmas cactus to be blooming. Maybe it’s a Thanksgiving cactus?
I think this baby has something, but I don’t know what. She’s basically been a failure to thrive. I did see some shiny dark sticky lines on the back of one of her leaves, plus some other bothersome spots. IDK, but I hope one of you will. TIA… 🤗💚🪴
What’s going on with my Swiss cheese plant? The leaves closest to the window are yellowing/draining all of their colors, we just dropped some of the healthiest looking leaves, and I’m starting to get worried! Where I am, it’s getting colder fast. Could that be what is affecting it? What can I do to stop the issue?
