Hello Planta Family! Question about grow lights. I currently have Sansi lights… which my plants love. But I’m thinking about reorganizing my jungle and came across these BamWorld shelves that come with grow lights. Wondering if anybody has these and what your thoughts are on them? They look super convenient and have 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon but sometimes you can’t trust the reviews online.
Hi yall, i have a candy heart plant, and it WAS doing ok, but now it looks like its barely hanging on.. i planted it, along with others, for my mom, but this one is rlly unwell. Anyone have any tips? Im running out of time.. Update: it is almost completely dead, i dont think i can savage it.. if anyone knows anything that can help, please let me know..!
I am finding conflicting watering instructions for my birds nest fern. The plant nursery where I got it said let it dry out and water approximately every two weeks, Planta says twice a week, conflicting information on Reddit and the web at large. For background, I’m in Houston (hot and humid, she lives indoors and we keep it about 70-75 degrees and 47-50% humidity.) Guidance appreciated!
I was given an African violet rose bouquet a couple months ago and while it’s still alive (no leaves have fallen or rotted off), I’m wondering what I can do to help it grow and bloom. I think a couple tiny leaves have emerged closer to the bottom but I feel like it should have more movement at this point? I’ve never had one before so it’s in indirect bright light and in a double cup (how I got it). I add water when the soil seems dry on top. Any advice?
Inherited this plant but having a LOT of trouble identifying it. Any ideas?

Ficus Tineke - Deformed new leaves? Help! Hi everyone! I received this beautiful Ficus Tineke as a gift, and I’m dealing with some weird new growth. The first leaf it grew in my care came out fine, but the two leaves that grew after that are deformed (see pictures). I initially checked for thrips (did not find any) but still sprayed with a precautionary mix of neem oil and alcohol. Has anyone experienced this before on their variegated rubber trees? Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening and how I can stop it? Thanks so much! Here are my current care details: Light: Bright, indirect east light. Watering: I let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Fertilizer: Fertilized 3 weeks ago (about a week before I noticed the deformation on the second leaf).

My frydek; I've noticed has slowed down in growth this month. I've notice another baby frydek coming out and it looks like another one forming as well. I'm assuming these are from corms that I haven't removed. My question is, does the main plant focus it's growth on the corms and if so should I remove said corms in order to promote growth in the main plant? Thanks in advance for your help.

first time plant owner!! Help! Do the roots stay in the water? The two bigger things are the self watering part of the setup! But all the little strings are roots. Where do I go from here?
Everyone say some prayers too the Pothos gods and pray that my propagation works! I’ve never attempted anything like this before and not sure if there was enough rooting to plant it yet. It was the only propagation out of 3 that had any roots growing at all! Pray this works!!!! It has 2 new leaves so pray that I didn’t pot it too soon!

I have this lovely Lipstick plan and I want to help her grow better! I have some leggy vines and a lot of new growth a the ends. Not a lot on top. How can I help her grow and be more full? Also should I support her by helping her climb along the window with clips?
