Hi everyone! I am just starting up as a plant keeper and I need some tips to take care of my first plant. Her name is Anastasia and she is a pineapple plant! I keep her on my bedroom windowsill which doesn’t get a lot of sunlight. It’s mostly just light really. Any tips on how to take care of her? Here is a photo:
just bought this pepperspot peperomia! any tips for taking care of her? when should i change her pot? i know you’re supposed to wait 2-3 weeks to let the plant get acclimated, but do you think it looks crowded?? would love some feedback and advice :)
I forgot I had taken this pic of this monster of a dracaena fragrans on my family’s property in Jamaica last year. I just found it while going through photos from that trip. My mom had calculated that it’s probably over 100-200 years old 🤪. I have the exact same one as an indoor plant, but of course it doesn’t look anything close to this 😂.
Watering and misting on this beautiful Sunday!! They’re all together in a saucer for the time under a grow lamp being until they dry off a little because I tend to be a little messy lol ❤️❤️ Lots of green and wanted to share!!🌿 (Money Mask, my two prayer plants, my polka dot plant, and my arrowhead plant!!!) Also treated some spots with some neem oil!! ☺️☺️
Money tree flowering 2 weeks ago vs today 🥰🥰
Anyone have an opinion about the type of soil i should put my pilea money plant propagations in?
Hi! My dad recently handed down this Dracena that has been in the family for years. It’s leaning and I believe needs to be repotted. Any repotting tips for this? I’m trying to figure out what size and type of pot to rehome it in. Thank you SO much for your help! This was my Grandparents plant, so I want it to thrive. 💚🪴
Hello! Newbie plant parent here - quickly growing my collection because of ADHD hyperfixation 😅 I’d like your advice! My son wants a plant in his room. There is barely any light. Can any of my current plants survive there? Any other easy plants I should consider? Can I get away without a grow light? I have: - Several varieties of snake plants. My daughter has been keeping a starfish one in her room with not much more light. - Several varieties of spider plants - golden pothos - marble queen pothos - heartleaf, neon and brazil philodendron - string of pearls I also have a thaumatophyllum and a monstera but those can’t be divided/propagated yet. Thank you! 😁
Are these little shoots baby snake plants or weeds? Someone had gifted me the snake plant in a glass jar, so I did have to repot it recently. Would weeds grow from that? Your thoughts are appreciated! 😃
I was told this was a Madagascar Dragon Tree but not sure what it is. Also having trouble trying to figure out why it’s dropping so many leaves. Help please! First photo from October Second photo from today
Hello. This post was meant for the Lithops group, but I’m putting it here to create, um, Lithops awareness? Basically, this is a plant almost everyone kills due to the watering schedule + waiting + trust. This is only my second winter with them, and they’re once again a total shock. It’s winter here, but currently a thousand degrees in S.Africa, so all my plants from that area are doing stuff. Anything that looks plump only recently came home with me. Anything crusty is an established plant that has gone through a year of me moving it between a full sun spot and a grow light powerful enough to crisp their tops. The result of the latter is, maybe, I’m getting some funky stuff such as two Lithops appearing in a single plant. One of the images shows the plant I started to dissect when I thought it was a goner. No, no, something definitely growing in there. Image of what they look like in their habitat. Note that these are some of the more uniform, “beautiful” I’ve seen in pics from the area.
3 new leaves unfurling✨✨🌱
Hi everyone, do you think this is a good spot for my parlor palms? Will they get enough/too much light? That whole front wall is windows so I am always a bit worried about placement😅
I want to start buying plants online and don’t know where is good, looking for suggestions!! (needs to be able to ship to Canada)
What is this plant. Planta thinks it’s a peperomia but the texture is different.
i need help with my flamingo lily, me and my friend got 1 and hers died bc it didn’t have drainage so i got scared and put it in a drainage pot and ever since i did that it lost all of its flowers and most of its leaves. i’m suspecting its pot is a tad too big…
i need to know when to repot my plants, like signs in the leaves. because resently i repotted a golden pothos because he was very droopy and sad. ( yellow leaves etc) i repotted him to a way bigger pot bc he also had rlly compacted roots. So in the later future i want to know when i need to!
