This banana plant has been giving me the blues. She is as initially holding water in her nursery pot. Iāve changed it to a chunky soil mix and now she looks worse than before. I currently have her under a grow light but Iām at a loss.

Iām trying to get help for my outdoor spider plant. Something is eating it, idk what, and I want to treat it before itās worse. What can I put on it? Iāve attempted to post in other groups, but it never shows up :(
PSA I was just scrolling YouTube when I came across a video from A Current Affair Australia about potting mix almost killing an elderly man. What he had breathed from the potting mix almost killed him. For many years when starting we never wore a mask when dealing with perlite. Under a microscope perlite looks like shards of glass. I recommend never opening a bag of it inside, go outside for a second and dump your perlite in your mix. As a safety I guess we should always wear a mask when mixing soil.
I got this Chinese evergreen back in February for Valentineās Day and it was half this size if not smaller and itās grown to this I just recently repotted it but I was wondering if I needed to try to tie it up as you can see itās wider than it is tall so I need to try and direct the growth into height or just leave it the way it is? Iām trying to have all my plants as happy as can be because I kinda neglected them during my pregnancy and now that Iām not pregnant no more I would love to see all my plants back to being happy
my monstera hasnāt done much in quite some time.. i havenāt seen any new growth in maybe a month.. is that normal.. i also donāt know what iām doing with the pole but she needed some support
I donāt understand these plants! š
No judgement please⦠this poor tradescantia nanouk got a bit neglected last year - left in a hot window for longer than I care to admit to. As a result the lengths ended up quite dry and the leaves dried out and went brown. I moved it and kept feeding it but didnāt do much else at the time as I didnāt want to shock it more. Iāve now taken off most of the brown dry dead leaves - I left a bit so you can see if the pics. The ends have grown some healthy (ish) looking bits. Iām not sure if I should prune it back to the middle, repot it and hope for the best or if thereās a better solution, can you do the loop & pin thing you can do with pothos? Or cut the healthiest end bits off and propagate back into the bare bits of the same pot? Thank you for any advice!

Didnāt know sundews spread so fast already separated 3 little ones from it not even a week another one popping
I've been meaning to repot this into a bigger pot but it's growing leggy. Should I separate the babies at the bottom and what do I do with it or keep it leggy ?
I am excited to join Planta. I have 62 indoor plants. Hereās my jungle.
Moth orchid blooming in March. I had this plant for seven years. It is the most dependable bloomer. Year round I keep it outside ( Southern California) and only bring inside when it blooms. The flowers are very fragrant, especially in the morning it fills whole room with sweet aroma.
The flowers on Silver Sword Philodendron. They stay open for very short. One time, i finally saw it open in the evening , I thought I would take a picture in the morning. Alas, in the morning it was shut close. It literally stays open a couple of hours!
Does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my new plant? Iāve only been watering it when the top bit of soil is dry. Itās outside where itās quite humid. The soil it came in wasnāt great, so I had to repot it right away, but the roots looked healthy. The new leaf coming in is now getting pretty brown, and the previous leaf has what I think is a burn along with some little spots that are maybe little burns too? Iāve checked it over and donāt see any bugs, webs, or anything obvious. Any ideas what could be causing this?
How would I start with growing plants in water? Iāve been curious, but scared (not propagation, but replacing soil with water) I heard from a friend that it might be good for my spider plant. I donāt want to kill it, Iāve gone through 3 of these little buggers š. Any advice?
I have this Angel Begonia that has grown tremendously since moving it closer to indirect light. It has grown to the point that it is tipping the pot. I know I should put it in a bigger pot but should I propagate it at the same time? There is another smaller plant in the same pot that I thought I would leave depending on the roots. Advice anyone? She is so pretty I am scarred to repot/cut.
Should I water all my pants from the bottom are just water from top with can ?
