POLL! What plants are your 1) Best? 2) Worst? 3) Wishlist? ME! 1) BEST: calatheas, prayer plants, money tree, and most peperomia. My string of turtles is doing so well so far. 2) WORST: I just can’t keep peperomia pepperspot or ruby cascade alive 3) I would love to have a monstera but I don’t have a space for such a large plant. My wishlist of plants I will probably buy soon are a pin-stripe calathea ornata, a prayer plant with red in the leaves and a calathea orbifolia.

Does anyone have suggestions on taking care of carnivorous plants ? Things that have worked for them. I am starting to grow a collection. I have bought The Savage Garden and purchased a venus fly trap and a pitcher plant. Things were going well with the trap but after transplanting it not so good. I find them fascinating.

Hi! I just rescued this plant. I’m not sure from my research if it’s a Rubber plant variegated or a Jellie plant peperomia. I was wondering if someone could give some advice of how to take of her. I gave her new soil about two weeks ago and watered her yesterday with some plant food.

Does anyone know at all what type of plant this is? I thought it was some sort of pothos but i just can’t seem to find anything that looks exactly like it. I got it from an antique shop i frequent and asked the owner what it was and she had no idea.

Hello all, just moved- what’s the easiest way to update all my plants locations? Do I basically need to start over or select each plant and change each new room location? I have up to 100 plants so the quicker way is the better way. Thanks so much ❤️

Master Oogway is a string of turtles. His turtles were light green with white markings. Newer turtles have a darker pattern now. Do you think that is good or does that mean I need to do something to help him?

Any ideas what this stuff is? I just started noticing it & it’s only on the sides of these fiber pots (added to images).

Hello! I'm newer to house plants and hoping to get some recommendations for moderately easy indoor plants that don't take up too much space (or where the size can be managed). It doesn't need to be a tiny plant, just something that doesn't have a huge spread or can be kept at a certain size by pruning. If it can fit on a 5" windowsill and tolerates direct sun, I do have northwest and northeast windows I could use. If it likes bright indirect light and doesn't mind being several feet or more from my northwest windows, I have plenty of space on my various bookshelves. I really love anything variegated (who doesn't) and interesting patterns like on calatheas (though I've heard these can be drama queens). I am big on orchids so I'm not entirely new to plants in general, and I think I can handle both beginner level plants and maybe like whatever level is just above beginner lol. I do have a tendency to overwater, so plants that are more forgiving is a plus. For reference, I currently have about 20 orchids, a ring of fire philodendron, a thai constellation monstera, a dieffenbachia camilla, a golden pothos, two coleus, and a persian shield. I'm sure some of those aren't within my parameters (just loved them too much to pass up) but hoping to avoid continuing to get a bunch of plants that aren't suited to my space or that will end up getting too big for me to find a spot for. Thanks in advance!

I have dahlia bulbs that I winter over in my garage in large ceramic pots outside. The white one has started to bloom, but the salmon one is not. Is there a fertilizer I could use to boost it into blooming this late in the season? Lots of green, but no buds or bloom yet. I had the same problem last year. I have used Alaska Morbloom (0-10-10) but it hasn’t done the trick.

Do I separate this from the lily and pot it up?

If you have a Costco near you, run don't walk! A friend of mine let me know that there were some interesting plants under the assorted foliage tag at Costco this month for 17.99. His local shop had Philodendron Pink Princess & Golden Crocodile while mine has Ficus Shivereana and Monstera Deliciosa 💚
