Today I found the most amazing plant nursery I’ve ever been to. It’s called Bountiful Gardens in Lawrenceville, NJ. They have an entire room filled with miniature baby 1 inch pots of every type of indoor plant you can imagine and they are 5 for $20. The plants are all consistently healthier than any I’ve ever seen. I’m having some buyers remorse about previous purchases I’ve made because here they are less expensive and healthier. Usually I always choose plants by which ones just seem to want to come home with me. I managed to only purchase 2 plants but might go back tomorrow. I got a parlor palm and a tiny pin-striped calathea. I am a bit worried about the parlor palm. I’ve never had a palm before and I’ve read they’re prone to infestation. This one looked extremely healthy and I don’t see any problems. I treated it with mosquito bits tea and also some diatomaceous earth on top of the soil. Is there anything else I can do to keep it and my other plants safe? I posted pictures of the one I bought plus some of the others I might go back for tomorrow.

One of my bromeliads has started growing pups. I’ve read that they only get as big as the mother. So how does one get bigger bromeliads? Do they just have to be bought large?
Any idea what jade this is. I just bought it from the store but it didn’t come with a label.
how can I save/revive this? Part of it seems to be thriving and the other not so much.. I think i overwatered to begin with
I just figured I would show this to you guys because seeing is believing. I purchased this plant yesterday…. Yesterday!!!! This morning I woke up and I had two beautiful new leafs unfurling. I’m a new plant mom so everything excites me. The fact that this plant had no new leaves when I purchased it and overnight she just bloomed like this. Let me know that I am doing everything correctly. 🥹 just thought I would share. This is a Pink Princess philodendron. When I first got her, she didn’t have any pink leaves, but I trusted my gut and I woke up to two pink babies waving at me
So this is in our house we are in at the beach! 😍 It has leaves unfurling!!
So in a previous post I mentioned about my new China Doll plant, well now she’s acting all stank and looking all droopy and sad 😞 this happened overnight!! I haven’t moved her or did anything and the weather has been the same hot and humid and she’s in partial shade not full sun I know she can be finicky but I’m doing what the app says and I watered her today and I’m going to place her in my bathroom for a nice hot sauna atmosphere so hopefully she’ll be back to her happy normal self. I really love this plant and willing to go though her trauma stages and learn
What on earth is happening to my snake plant?!?!? It happened so suddenly -- seemed to be overnight. My only guess is root rot (I've never repotted it 🫣), but I've never experienced this before. I hope it isn't diseased?!!
I have a mother of a million plant that I just got the soil is wet but the plant is droopy
Hi lovely plant people. Here is my Little Lithadora- she was doing ok when I got her- I put her outside and she was mostly chomped by birds/ squirrels. I’ve brought her inside and been watering as per planta. Is she a lost cause? Can I do anything to help her?
I don’t like to shop at bug box stores and try my best to go to my local plant stores but when I was in Walmart today picking up a few things and couldn’t help but peak at the plants, got all of these pretty bbs for 5 dollars!! They were all on sale, I spent way too much money. (I love pink if you can’t tell) ((not pictures is a Hoya, silver sword philodendron, monstera Peru, monstera Thai constellation)) Side note: any tips for taking care of allocations Alocasias , I had one in the past, but it died pretty quickly. I think it might’ve been in two directive son, the edges got brown and then eventually curled up so any tips for taking care of those would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!❤️🌷
hello do you guys have any advice for taking care of white sage? please & thank you 🌱
Anyone make their own distilled water? Pro's? Con's? Do you trust it's truly "distilled"?
For 2-years and some, I've had her as Moonglow Crassula Muscosa. Is she really Moonglow or Pickle plant?
Hey all, I’m a new [indoor] plant mum! I’ve been growing for some time in my garden/greenhouse, in the past I’ve failed at indoor plants terribly but thought I’d give it a shot again. I recently bought; Aluminium Plant, polka dot plant, nerve plant & a Purple Velvet Plant - I went for the nontoxic plants as I do have a fair amount of pets, although they are out of reach. I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations anyone could offer 🙂🫶🏼 TIA!
Second post today 😩, though I was wondering if this leaf needs to be pruned or left alone?? It’s burnt because of the sun, but the rest of the stem is fine. We aren’t quite sure what to do, so would leaving it be the best option?? I believe this is a Golden Pothos(?)
Is this anything I should be concerned about? The ends of the leaves are turning yellow-ish brown and I don’t believe it’s from the sun. I keep my Alocasia in a well-lit room but away from direct sunlight. Is it from overwatering?
Does Mr waffle just need a watering I feel like yeah cause it’s droopy and dry
Is it normal for a money tree to rapidly turn brown and drop a lot of its leaves? I believe the leaves that have dropped are the more matured leaves (bottom half). But he is growing lots of new leaves all around but just looks pretty bald underneath now. Any explanation or solution would be amazing thank you😊
Quick question: I want to get a Monstera. Im a beginner in these types of stuff. If you have a monstera, pls tell me how hard it is to care for, how much light it needs, etc. TIA!! Also, planta says that monstera plant is toxic to humans. What does that mean?
