How often does everybody water their ZZ? I was noticing the Planta schedule for watering. The app wants me to water at 23 days, (13 days from today) which might be okā¦..except, then it wants me to fertilize dissolved in water, 6 days later. This strikes me as not right. Am I wrong in my assumption?
So someone is giving me an oxalis triangularis how do you take care of it?
I just bought this plant maybe 2 weeks ago and was wondering what this white spot was on the leaf? could it be variegation??
My living room front window faces southeast and definitely gets full sun. I also have two northeast facing windows that the light meter reads as part sun, part shade. So, is the whole room full light bc of the SE window? Can I keep plants that like part sun, part shade towards the NE of the room? I so badly want to stop scorching plants! š„
How long does it take dragon fruit seeds to grow into cactus? Mine have looked like this for two months but only keep growing taller and no cactus babies have appeared :/
I'm leaving for a weeklong vacation; this is the first time I'm heading out of town since setting up grow lights for my plants. I have them on for 16 hours a day currently, but wondering if I should lower that number while I'm away so my plants don't dry out too quickly? But also not sure if that will make a significant difference? Any advice for getting plants ready before going away (about adjusting grow lights or otherwise) is appreciated!

New Jade Plant Help Hiya - my friend just gave me a jade plant he didnāt want anymore and I have no idea what Iām working with. He kept it outside during the summer and said the grasshoppers got to it and Iāve brought it home to be inside for the winter. Can someone please tell me some information about what Iāve got? Health, new growth, big or small? I sprayed it down with a neem oil mixture before I brought it inside and Iām keeping in quarantined until I know more. Thanks in advance!
How do you get smoke odour out of plants? I purchased two plants from a buy and sell group. Trouble is the owner is a smoker. The plants and pots reek of smoke and the smell is not dissipating. I had them quarantined in hopes it would go away. I live in Canada so itās not an option to put them outside (snow) or in the unheated garage. Suggestions? Repot probably. But I swear even the leaves stink. I do figure that if they lasted there, I should be able to keep them alive with my fresh air. They are a spider plant and a happy bean plant. Both in 5.5ā pots.
Is no tap water for plants really true! What does everyone do instead?

Is this pot too big? This is my white princess and I bought her as is back in September. She's barely grown, hasn't attached to the pole at all, grows small leaves, and lost 2 original large leaves in this 9" pot. My pink princess is in a smaller pot about 4" and thriving with large leaves

Whatās wrong with my Venus fly trap? Iāve always killed these but have it another shot. Its traps turn a lemon yellow and then eventually black. I mist it twice a week, water it when planta says. The only thing I can think is itās not getting enough light. Itās pretty far from the window but I donāt have room for it to be closer. Does it need a grow light?
The tips and sometimes the mid sections of my peace lilyās are brown. Everything is telling me like twelve different reasons. I donāt know whatās causing it? I water it to plantas schedule, mist it every week, itās in front of a window but about 6 feet away. Maybe itās hard water? Thatās damaging it?
Itās hard to see in this but you can see a bit under. My nerogelias bottom leaves are turning yellow and eventually the base develops brown patches and becomes crispy. I know sometimes itās just shedding old leaves but it seems too frequent for that. Any ideas as to why itās doing that so often?
Hi what would be some of the best plants for a self watering pot please? I killed my last plant as the soil was constantly soaked. Not sure if I'm using the pot wrong as I'm sure the soil shouldn't always be wet :/ thanks guys
I have a Black Bat plant that hasn't been doing well for at least a year. When I bought it, it was full of luscious leaves. Then they started to brown and die off. But I kept working on it to try to get it back. Every time since then, only a set of 2 leaves grow. Within a week they start to brown and wither. I've moved it a couple of times trying to find the sweet spot for it to grow. Does anyone know anything about this plant and what I'm doing wrong? I'd appreciate any advice you could give me. The window is just above it and I've already had to remove one leaf.
