Should I add another light to each rack? Can’t tell if the plants need more light or not. They’re doing great!…but wondering if I can get better growth.
I was taking a break from creating adult coloring books (yes, I’m an author in my retired life)… and I was staring into space and I noticed that my snake plant was flowering! It even has some cute water droplets coming out. I looked it up and I’m so confused… Snake plants prefer to be a bit root bound and can bloom from either mild/continuous stress or when in ideal growing conditions. So this is either perfect, or it’s stressed. Ummmmm????? I have so many questions.
Any tips for money trees. I’ve killed 2 in the past but really want to try for a third time. ðŸ˜
Hello everyone. I took a trip back home for Christmas and left my plants for like 3 weeks and was hoping for the best (I know, don’t judge me). This is my peace lily, it looks the worst. I don’t know if it’s dead or not. I’m thinking I could resume watering, prune the dead leaves and see if it’ll sprout again? Or am I delusional? Please help!
Good morning plant parents. It has been a dream come true by investing in plant caddies to temporarily group my Majesty Girls (majesty palm plants) and Voluptuous Ladies (Chinese Evergreens or aglaonema lumina) in front of the living room sliding glass door for light exposure rather than running grow Lights for plants in separate rooms. But what really makes the difference is the humidifiers at 60% throughout my apartment because the air can get really dry with running the heater during the winter months to keep the temperature at 70F.
I got this plant a couple weeks ago, and i thought it was a philodendron. Today, I got a couple new pothos and i noticed that one of them looked almost exactly like the philodendron i got, but bigger?
Got this last summer and it ended not doing well. It’s getting better. It’s under a grow light since it’s winter and cold out side. Not sure what to do any tips will be great.
I have a fiddle leaf fig in my sunroom. It’s cold here in atlanta and I’ve been bringing him in every night but during the day I leave a space heater on in the sunroom (I don’t want to lv it in at night) . I’ve heard they don’t like to be moved around much. Should I continue to bring him in or cover him w a sheet?
Plant memes for the winter week that is dragging along!
What in the?!!! What are these. I found 2-3 of these on my fern
My Majesty Girls love early morning 5am grouping for misting with door open when humidity levels are highest >80%
recommendations on plants that can withstand colder temps overnight?? We’re about to move, and my fiance wants a plant in the room but we like to sleep in the cold. Does anyone have plants in their room with an air conditioner, keep a window cracked, or keep the room around 60° ?? I use to have my plants in the room when it was cold and they seemed fine, but once I put them in a warmer spot they flourished. I don’t wanna stunt their growth, freeze my plants or send them into shock… I’m already worried about moving with them in the winter.. I’d appreciate other plant parents’ opinions !! Please be nice lol
What are these odd beetle-like creatures that are living off of my plant? They showed up when I added moss to the same pot as my wild carrot.
Hi just wondering if anyone has any idea how to get rid of gnats in indoor plants? Thanks in advance
I have this plant and I had supported this branch by wood but realized it just keeps going up up up and the other leaves aren’t growing. How do I manage this one stem??
What is this plant called and does it look healthy 🪴
Last night I got bored and made my own succulent mix, my zebra aloe and my trailing jade and my jade plant
Hey all.⊹₊⟡⋆ I had just bought this cebu blue pothos a few days ago and she looks kinda rough. I still bought her cuz I haven’t see any in the shops near me. Any helpful tips for success would be greatly appreciated. I notice it’s a little bare on top so I’m curious if cutting her up and propogating to make it more full is a good idea. And a lot of leaves have black/dark spots on them. Thank you *:・゚✧*:・゚✧
If you have 2 or plus plants in a pot, which schedule do you follow? And does this also apply to succs?
