She finally open upđ„°đȘŽ
My vining peperomia recently had mold in her soil took that off and repotted her with better soil recently. Even before that the leaves just fall off easily and since the repotting some bottom leaves are a splotchy muddy color. I want to save this baby and i cant figure out how?! (Shes indoor outdoor for 6 hours most days to get sun otherwise she has a grow light)
Just bought these 2 tropical plants from Costco today! đȘŽđż Iâm a total newbie and would love some help. Can anyone help me identify them and share any tips or tricks to keep them healthy and thriving? I want to start this plant journey off right and make sure I donât accidentally kill them đ Any advice on watering, light, or repotting would be amazing! Thanks in advance, plant fam! đ
hey! itâs me again! đ„° i also bought this cutting from an Etsy shop! any care tips will be much appreciated đ«¶đœ Hoya Crassipetiolata Splash in Pumice đ
yâall i really gotta stay off of etsy! how do i care for this cutting? i feel like Planta gives advice for more mature plants. this is a Wilbur Graves Hoya, and itâs currently in Sphagnum Moss. This cutting was not cheap! đ so i NEED her to grow and thrive! TIA đ
Iâve had this little airplant for a few years now and just realized that I donât water it the way Iâm supposed to. I just run him under the sink tap and then shake him off and stick it back in the window once a week. Its growing nicely so Iâm afraid to change my ways. I also never fertilize or mist it. Any opinions?
Hi everyone, I wanted some advice about my tradescantia nanouk. I repotted her in May as she had outgrown her pot. Now two months later, her roots have started to come out the drainage holes in her pot and she is huge. She just keeps growing which is amazing! But, do I need to repot again or leave her alone as sheâs doing really well? I donât want to make a mistake repotting and risking transplant shock. Thank you!
Looking for plant recommendations! I am just loving my indoor plants. I try to stick to pet friendly plants that arenât too temperamental. I have several peperomia plants, calatheas, money trees, a Hoya, a crispy wave fern and an African violet. I have a few plants that arenât pet friendly that I keep out of reach of my dogs - a snake plant, a pothos, and an aloe plant. Are there any other poet friendly plants I should try to add to my collection? Should I try a more advanced plant like a different type of fern? Anyone have any suggestions?
I just love posting on here clearly đ, but anyone know when its time to repot this lavender plant?
Please help me with this plant. Since I got her itâs been difficult. Sheâs barely grown, and it looks like parts of her are dying. I repotted her, I trimmed off her dead branches, I placed her under a grow light, I put her on the patio where she got indirect light, and nothing seems to be working. I canât figure out why I canât keep such a basic plant alive. It could be that I live in a very humid environment so maybe thatâs not good. It could be that Iâm not letting her roots dry out. I just donât know. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Can someone ID this Hoya? I just bought her, but she wasnât labeled.
I asked Dr. Planta and am waiting a response but I'm curious as to what you think might be wrong with my Begonia Rex. It is in a full sun part of my office, about a foot from my tinted window (there is also a light filtering shade I use on occasion). I water it on schedule according to the app but some of the leaves facing the window are becoming desaturated and green. They aren't crispy, or browning, just losing some colour. I've moved Bhaalspawn to the other side of my desk, out of direct sunlight because I'm worried it might be getting burnt. Help?
I just bought this beautiful Giant Elephant Ear, should I repot it into a bigger nursery pot, or should I see how it does first??
Does Carl need to be repotted? I just got him two weeks ago.
Hey guys! Iâve had this Jade leaf planted for almost a year now. It does have roots and has slowly gotten bigger. Iâve been waiting so patiently for it to actually sprout into more of a plant instead of just a leaf. Is there anything I can do it help it do that? or do I just need to wait forever lol Iâm also thinking about repotting it into a bigger pot soon. One of the ones you can see behind it in the picture that are an inch larger in diameter. The pot itâs in now has rocks in the bottom (to prevent root rot) and Iâm thinking maybe it just needs more space to grow more? The plant it was taken from was so strong and cool. Theres a picture of it towards the beginning of my plant photos on the profile. I thought it wouldâve grown more by now based on its mom.
The age old debate for plant parents. How many of you repot as soon as you bring a new plant home vs waiting a month or so until the plant has had a chance to acclimate?
Hey everyone! Anyone know how to propagate an African violet? Iâve tried everything and they always die.đđ
Should I repot my jade? Iâve had her for 4.5 years, and sheâs been in this 6â pot for a couple years. I wouldnât move up a pot size, Iâd just change the soil as I havenât done that in a long time.
Thinking about buying this Japanese maple plant but Iâm afraid that it will die because Iâm going to make it a indoor plant but aesthetically itâs beautiful and a powerful statement piece for my apartment. Thoughts? Should I do it? 200$ Iâm willing to burn on such a piece of art.
Hi guys! My neighbors just moved out and gifted me this fern plant but Iâm not sure which it is. Can you help identify it? Also, any care tips would be great as the leaves keep crisping up. Iâm assuming it loves lots of moisture.
