This is ‘Squishy’ who is roughly 4 years old. Squishy doesn’t like cold and was delegated to the Plant Graveyard because Plant Daddy 3000 wasn’t attentive last winter 😞 but lo and behold…. It’s alive!!! 😁 Guess who is getting repotted! Welcome back Squishy!!!

Found this lil guy on my royal poniciana tree before the sun went down

Anyone know why this leaf is curving so much? The moisture is at a level 5 so it’s not too dry or wet and I thought it was because of a lack of light but I turned it towards the window with the blinds up today and it curved more. It is the leaf on the right in the first picture, the second pic is after I turned it towards the window today. This is a giant elephant ear btw

Finally visited a, I’ll call it, plant showroom about a 40 minute e-bike ride away! It’s going to be my new happy place, I can tell! They rotate the plants from an off site greenhouse! They even have a “plant swap” thing I’m eager to learn more about!!!🪴🥳🎉

Anyone else have one? I think it’s the most interesting flower! What do I do with it though. It just keeps growing, and it’s a strange shape to contain. It doesn’t quite dangle or climb just juts out everywhere with its one leaf stems and flowers.

Does anyone know what’s wrong with my lemon grass? I know i have to repot it I’m just waiting on the pots and soil :( Please don’t tell me it’s dead

Any suggestions on how to repot this? I think it’s a philodendron. It’s very top-heavy as the lower leaves have died.

MISTING DOES NOT RETAIN HUMIDITY I feel that I have to say this a lot and no fault to the people who think or have thought this because I totally thought this at one point before I looked into it. I am not saying that it can’t make the plant happier but to have proper humidity one of the best ways is to buy a humidifier.

I had chopped my PPP bc it was reverting badly. It stalled this leaf for 3 months in its sheath before finally starting to grow again! I had to do surgery bc the leaf actually hardened INSIDE the sheath before unfurling, but she survived 😭

Can someone tell me what’s going on with my plant. Could it be the soil or the pot or it needs some fertilizer? Thanks

Thought this was interesting… Mandarin spider plants don’t produce spideretts. They produce seeds. Going to try and plant them for sure 😁

Guys my cilantro seeds finally sprouted into baby cilantros after two whole months 🥹🥳

I have a Madagascar jewel that is very happy but quite top heavy. I have tried bracing with gardening sticks and other things, and at one point it had leaned onto the power cord for the lights that were above it. It's been leaned temporarily up against the glass sliding door to our sun room, but I don't like it there as the leaves are starting to curl and discolor. I want to transplant it to a bigger pot with more dirt, but I was wondering how far up the trunk I can safely put the soil to help it stand on its own
