hey! this is my MIL’s elephant ear plant. She’s had it for YEARS and it’s done amazing, but she repotted 2 days ago with fresh soil and it went limp. At first we just thought it was being dramatic and went into shock, but after closer inspection of the leaves it looks like something else might be the culprit. Please help!!
Should I repot this guy? Just got him and not sure if that pot is too small or if I put him in a bigger one if he’ll grow bigger? Need advice please and thank you! ☺️
Anyone know what kind of plant this is? If so, do you know ow what’s wrong with it and what to plant it in? Someone pls help!!
Packing up my plants for our move. It’s a daunting exhausting task.
Here I am, asking for help again 😩 my philo golden melinonii is sick. The tagged pic is from March 19th and all was good. But today not so much. The planta diagnosis suggests overwatering or a fertilizer issue.. but care hasn’t changed.. no pests detected and no other changes.. any ideas??
Does anyone have any idea why my yucca leaves are turning yellow?? I’ve had her for over 2 years and have never had this issue before. I only water her about every 2 weeks and she’s under a grow light that’s further away for 4hr per day. The only thing that’s changed is I took her outer plastic pot off and put her into this wicker basket recently. Do you think that could be it?
Planta is telling me to prune this cilantro plant? Am I cutting off these little flat and smooth leaves or should I just leave it to keep growing more and just skip the Planta task?
Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself and show my little indoor jungle
My new Alocasia Variegated Frydek. Sucha drama queen 👸 but absolutely gorgeous 🫠😮💨
My new strawberry shake philodendron🍓🍓♥️ So sweet
Can someone please help me ID this plant? My mom saved these pieces from the dying plant and is attempting to propagate them - lots of new roots growing! I’ll be putting them in soil today but would like to know more about it so I can give it the best care. Thanks in advance!
Please help😫 I thinned out and repotted my Sweet William seedlings and the stems were very weak due to the lack of sun they were getting from being overcrowded so I propped them up… first few hours after repotting was fine but now 2 days later they are wilting and leaves are curling/dying :(( Are they dead; should I just start over? Or is there a way to revive them? Photos attached of now, just after repotting, and before repotting. Any advice appreciated please :)
My orchid lost all its flowers and has been a stick for a couple months. I know they go dormant so I was being patient. I’ve notice a second arm started to grow but going the wrong direction! I turned her around so her arm can move the other way (I’m assuming it’s stretching towards the sun, that’s why it’s doing a curve now lol) I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to handle her new arm, I’ve tried moving it a bit to hold it down but she’s study and I do not wanna snap her. Will I eventually have to get her, her own bendy pole on her side.. not sure…
How to prepare water? Hi green fingers, I have a question on water. I live in city center apartment and tap water is all I got, no rain water or distilled water available as suggested by planta. Is there anything I can do to reduce the harm to plant caused by tap water?
After much analysis of this social platform I have figured out the popular interest and disinterest, diseases and concerns go under the bus, new plants and information being given is moderately viewed, but jokes are key to the most appraisal and popularity. So I’m totally going to abuse this knowledge and make everyone laugh so I’ll see y’all in the meantime .
Can anyone tell me what kind of plant this is? And why does it always drop branches and leaves when putting on a new leaf? Is it supposed to look like a tree?
Little mushroom growing in my indoor bromeliad. Is it cause for concern?
I just went to Hawaii and I was in awe at all of the plants! Apparently Hawaii has nematodes in their soil, so I couldn’t bring them home, but I did get away with some new air plants!
I just got this a few days ago and I feel like she’s already getting a little droopy and sad. First time plant mom here as well. I had her outside in my screened porch that faces east with indirect light. Soil is wet and doesn’t need watered. Some of the leaves are cupping down and some are perfect. Is this normal or is there anything I need to change?
