Someone’s having a good day!❤️❤️
Can someone explain edema to me? Assuming it is when plants are watered too frequently? I wait until mine are mostly dry then run water through the soil long enough that I know it’s totally saturated. I thought you couldn’t overwater by soaking it…right??
I cant even believe what I stumbled across tonight! I was cleaning up in my plant area (lol the area takes up almost half the Living room and my family hates it, so its funny when I call it an area like a small space) and I had to do a double take! Mind you we just moved in here at the end of the summer and I repotted both of my 5 ft BOP's and i literally thought was dying on me!
So my monstera has tons of babies everywhere and has new growth as well, would I be able to repot and separate these babies. Any advise is appreciated.
New Growth Everywhere!!! I take it they like their new spot in the house.
Any idea what is causing my snake plant to droop? I follow the watering schedule and repotted her a couple of months ago because her roots were coming out of the soil. Will she stand tall again or should I just trim her and propagate the ends?
Can someone please, tell me why this philodendron has yellow spots on the leaf
Can you help identify this guy? All I know is she is an alocatia.
There’s a cute little plant growing in my shield plant. I’m used to seeing mushrooms in a lot of my plants, or an occasional weed. But this stem is purple lol
more new growth i’m a happy camper
some new growth in my kitchen :) 🌱 i know my little white corm won’t last too long but i’ve never propped a corm before and this is my first one ever so i’m just feeling the success in this one lol
Nothing wrong just showing my flower on my parachute plant I think the flowers are just awesome and so unusual
Any tips on this ponytail She looks the same I don’t see any progress
Hi, my plant is growing quite tall and it’s getting hard to provide the support it needs, and the bottom leaves have also been suffering because of this. Is this normal growth for this plant and i should just switch to taller trellises, or is there a way to help the growth be more widespread rather than just up?
Let’s talk about WATER for some of our more particular plants. Many of you recommend distilled water for these lovelies. Is bottled drinking water a decent substitute? Also what about tap water that sits out for awhile - I’ve heard that can help?? Would boiling & cooling tap water help? As you can tell I’m reluctant to go full distilled..:
What is happening with my plant? Why are the leaves “yellowing” and the actual leaves have some “yellowing “ too. I swear… I am doing everything I was told but somehow it’s not good enough
So yesterday I acquired this reflector while out and about picking up other plants. My plant journey started July of this year and yesterday I went from 45 plants to 62 lol I have questions: It’s in pon. I’ve heard of it. Haven’t worked with it yet. What do I do?I do want to move it to soil. I’m doing like 20 repottings today lol
hello! i got this silver inch plant as a cutting from my roommates plant, and it hasn’t really had many problems up until this point. i initially had it on a bright south facing window in my kitchen, and then the leaves started to brown. I thought it was maybe getting too much light so I moved it? but so far nothing has changed. doesn’t seem to be any visible pests as far as i can tell- any idea what it could be?
hey everyone! i have a money piece plant that has fungus gnats :( does anyone have any home remedies that work from experience?? and do gnat traps and neem oil work?? I’m so desperate, they’re everywhere!!
I’m trying to decide what my next plant will be, I have a good amount of experience by now so I’m not afraid of something a little but more difficult but I don’t trust myself for something determined to die. I feel like I’m almost to the point where getting any more complex plants (especially the ones I think sense I tend to be drawn to the more tropical ones) is going bc to require humidity, so I’m looking into a indoor greenhouse too. So these are my questions 1. What has been your favorite/ most rewarding plant you’ve had 2. What has been your least favorite/ most overhyped plant 3. Do you think indoor greenhouses are worth it 4. If you have a indoor greenhouse and or indoor lighting how does your set up work and what do you like/ dislike about it Also any general plant talk is welcome, I’m just trying to get a feel for where my next steps will be!
