hello! i got this silver inch plant as a cutting from my roommates plant, and it hasn’t really had many problems up until this point. i initially had it on a bright south facing window in my kitchen, and then the leaves started to brown. I thought it was maybe getting too much light so I moved it? but so far nothing has changed. doesn’t seem to be any visible pests as far as i can tell- any idea what it could be?

It would probably do better a foot or two away from the window & I’m not sure how often you water it but it could be being overwatered.. you can always start by checking roots, cutting anything dead and black (that causes root rot) and repotting with a well draining airy soil!

Same family as my nanouk and the leaves will brown if they get wet. They are also super easy to propagate. Just taking a cutting and put back into the soil. I did three cuttings and all have taken off. Trying for a fuller looking plant.

this is actually an albiflora, which may be part of your problem. it looks similar to nanouk but i think this is tradescantia albiflora. it's probably adjusting to having been moved and will resume as normal in a week or two.

Well the good news is that tradescantia’s grow really quickly, so once you figure out the right spot for it, it will bounce right back. In my experience they do better in bright indirect light, so putting them in a south facing window might have been too much.
