I can’t figure out what is wrong with my Japanese aralia. I don’t think it is lack of light or rot. I just bought it and planted in ground 4 days ago.

Hi! Sorry for another question. Been given this Chinese evergreen I believe it is. It's been living in water for god knows how long, but I'd like to transfer it into soil instead. I've read it can shock the plant and give it root rot as its accustomed to water. What are all the necessary steps I should take to getting this baby into soil without harming/killing the plant? Also, could some identify the exact type of Chinese evergreen this is please?

hi !!! so im just wondering what is going on with my pitcher plant , her name is Thorn, she is thriving and has 3 beautiful pitchers that collect more gnats than i'd like to admit are in my apartment ... but i noticed that there is a new little plant growing a the base of the existing plant and it the little green pitcher looks different than how the other pitchers have been growing in. does anyone know if this is normal or if this is even the same plant ??? thank you !!!

Hi! Could anyone please tell me if I'm doing anything wrong with my aloe vera and marble queen pothos. The aloe veras bottom leaves are drooping and the new growth looks odd. Maybe I'm overthinking it. The pothos is supposed to have white, but the white is now a slight yellow (more saturated in picture) I've currently moved it more to the growth light to see if thats helps. I don't overwater the pothos I'm sure, though I do not mist and unsure of last time I fertilized. I use the miracle grow liquid fertilizer. My windows isnt west or east facing but dies get atleast some light through, though in picture isnt as much due to time of day. My camera messes with the lighting but my windows does give a bit of light unlike what it seems in picture.

Hi! Just wondering about different plants and how root bound they like to be? Begonia (I have a ferox), and philos, and citrus trees? Typically I try to let my plants get root bound decently before up potting because I used to be a chronic overwaterer. I know I could look this up just wanted to see what peoples personal experiences were! These plants are in an east facing window but supplemented with a grow light.

I just set up 2 raised flower beds and this year I did it different. I did the German way I think it’s called. I layered cardboard, sticks, a few green plants, compost and the potting soil. My vegetables don’t seem like they are growing as fast and there is ALOT of wood chips (mulch) in my soil. Can any advise me on what I should do? Thanks for your help EDIT: I also had a dead tree that I had the stump shredded and used some of that to layer my raised bed.

If you live in a bottom apartment and your plants reside under the upper apartment's balcony, do you still water them even when it rains? Since winds often accompany the rains we get here in South-Central WI, often times I come back home to them splashed on by the rain.

My ficus elastica Abidjan has had no new growth since I've had the plant (5 months), it gets plenty of light and the right humidity. Any ideas or tips and tricks? 😄

I’m in Alabama, zone 8b and moving my plants outside for the first time ever. Any tips? I’m moving to a shaded screened in porch My goals are to increase the growth and see if the peace lily will bloom again. It should be a little brighter and extremely humid
