If you live in a bottom apartment and your plants reside under the upper apartment's balcony, do you still water them even when it rains? Since winds often accompany the rains we get here in South-Central WI, often times I come back home to them splashed on by the rain.
My ficus elastica Abidjan has had no new growth since I've had the plant (5 months), it gets plenty of light and the right humidity. Any ideas or tips and tricks? 😄
What do people do with braided money trees? Mine is growing really quickly and idk how to continue to braid it without doing damage or if I should let it be all natural

Hi friends! I’ve just bought this Calathea de Makoy and when I was in the process of putting her in a new pot I saw these at the bottom in the roots. Does anyone know what these are and if I should remove them?
This is my coleus I started several weeks ago, and I don’t know when she needs to be repotted. I know she’s still a little small, but they’re getting too big for the bag. Am I okay to just leave them out of the bag or do they still need their humidity?
Anyone have any tips for cats eating your plants? I have a few plants that I am so protective over and I keep waking up finding bite marks in the new leaves:/ I keep trying g to move them but my cats are sneaky and always find a way to get to them. I guess I’m just curious if anyone has any advice on how to keep them away from them as much as possible? Should I get some cat grass? Any thoughts welcome!!! 🤗

Found this great shelf at an estate sale for $13. My hoyas have a great new home
help!! this is my pink eye verbena, i bought it yesterday and repotted and watered it once. Now tonight it looks like this :( my balcony is partial sunlight, mostly the sun shines bright on my plants during sunrise and the rest of the day is fairly shaded but still sunny. How do i fix it? can’t tell if its from under watering or over watering??
