Does anyone have any advice for traveling away and not being able to take care of plants. I’m only gone for a week, so I’m planning on just leaving all my plants ready for the week near windows for plenty of light and keep ac consistent. Anything else?

Should I move my Fiddle Leaf Fig into my bathroom? It is a southeast facing window which I heard is absolutely perfect for fiddle leaf figs. The nearest ac is around 10-12 feet from it which I think is enough not to be much of a draft to my fiddle leaf fig. The bathroom is also often humid/a normal humidity but the humidity does change throughout the day (obviously) would that be a problem with my fiddle leaf fig?

This guy isn’t doing very well I’m not sure what kind of plant it is and I think it’s too small to identify. I do want this guy to stay alive

What is happening? The plant got bent by being knocked over while outside but why is it turning yellow at the tips of the leaves??

Is my croton getting to much sun?!? Recently had a leaf fall off minutes ago. It’s in a 10 inch pot. Was last watered two days ago. Seems to be leaning a bit too. I tied it with twine a couple of days ago as well for self correction. She was upright mostly when I got her (picture on the right) Tuesday 2/20/24. However she was repotted because on Thursday 2/22/24 because of the lack of space for the roots. She also received a lot of direct sunlight Thursday due to transport and Home Depot garden center. Please tell me I didn’t ruin her.

Plant friends plz share your wisdom. brought this plant home yesterday from the nursery. Re potted it in “Tropical Soil” by Miracle Grow. Realized that I put it in a pot with 0 drainage. What kind of pot should I purchase, or should I just buy a plastic pot with holes to put inside of this pot? And what kind of soil or mixture should I use? Should there be rocks at the bottom? Thank you for all of your guidance!

Anyone have any advice on how to consider this location in terms of light? It’s too high up for the leaves of an upright plant to get any direct sunlight, but the plant would receive 12 hours or more of indirect light.

Hi there, I am looking for some advices. I repotted a common Ivy plant because soil was not enough to cover the full roots, and I decide to give her a new brand soil. After repotting, how should I wait before watering? Shall I give moist to soil in the first weeks.

I went to my plant shop today to have them look at my monstera. The first photo is my baby before. They put a moss pole for me and it looks a bit messy (all the other photos show the after moss pole). They definitely know more than I do, but any thoughts on it?

I’ve had both plants for over 6 months but just this week the leaves on both prayer plants started curling? They’ve always been on opposite sides of the house, I haven’t moved them recently or changed anything about their watering schedule? I’m so confused about what’s causing this! 😭 Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated! They also aren’t dry or developing crispy edges on the leaves, the leaves still feel completely healthy. I’m so confused 🥲

Does putting a plant into a bathroom actually help with humidity? I want to move my palm into the bathroom so it hopefully does even better than it is now. Also, my bathroom does not put out that much light, I was planning on getting a grow light but I know palms need a lot of light so I’m worried it won’t be enough. Any recommendations?

Hi everyone! I’ve had this purple inch plant for about a year now, and it’s gotten really long to the point where I was trying to untangle its branches and ended up snapping some branches. Do you guys think I should leave it alone, let it grow like it has been? Or should I trim it down?
