Hello! I'm still fairly new to the plant world. I am planning on repotting some plants that need some tlc. I've been searching for the right soil and the best I found was the Fox Farms potting soil. Does anyone think otherwise ? Or have other recommendations I want to be able to give the right soil to my plant babies! :) thank you! Also any tips for new plant mom?

I have a big spider plant in a 7â pot and smaller one of the same kind of spider plant in a 6â pot. iâm looking to combine them to make room for more plants and to make it look fuller. I was thinking of going to a 10â pot. is that too small or should i go bigger?
I was wondering if anyone has painted terracotta pots before and what type of paint you used? i still need it to absorb the water and everything that it does to help with the succulents that i have in them. i just want to paint them to spruce them up and to make them not look as dirty.
Any recommendations on where to place plants if an air return is near the window with the best sunlight? I live in an older home and my air return is right in front of the window. If I keep plants near there the moisture in the soil dries out like crazy.
Has anyone had any experience moving their plants internationally? Howâd you do it, did it work, was it worth it lol đȘŽđthank youuuu!
My snake plant was re potted about a month ago, I realized I used the wrong type of soil by using Pete moss and potting soil mix. The plant wonât stand up straight without support. Do I pull it out and repot immediately?? Or wait for the roots to settle in? Help!
Can anyone tell me what this is/if itâs alive? Bought a bunch of plant stuff altogether and this was planted on one of the pots. Not sure what it is but I popped it out and will replant if itâs anything good lol
Hi guys, this is Mary Rose. I got her the same day a very nice woman I know, went to California to get a brain tumor removed. So, I named this plant, after her. Mary Rose herself had her surgery, and none of us have heard from her yet. But it would be wonderful if everyone could keep her in your thoughts and prayers tonight!
So last fall when I was bringing all my house plants inside I ran out of room so I put some in my unheated garage and I made room for most but this spider plant just never made it inside and I think it did better then some of them in my house. She has even added more babies and flowered.
I cut my stem off my yuca plant, is this it for my plant? Looks very much dead. đ„č
Update is we had to get some grow lights so they can grow and get more light, and once they establish there growth we can remove the grow lights as they will adjust! Kind of ugly now but will look nice in the long run
I'm so excited my canna Lilies are coming up. I planted 33 and so far 9 have come up. đ€
Help pleaseâŠ. Iâm so scared. I want to propagate my monstera but I donât want to kill it. I donât have a green thumb at all but Iâve managed to keep Monte alive!!! I love him and heâs part of the family. So, can yâall tell me if Iâm cutting in the right place and tell me how to do this.
This is what is left of my spider plant and what new growth is present. Not sure if the new growth is spider plant or something that was just in the soilđ€·ââïž. What I think happened was that when I brought it home and watered it, I also put the recommended number of Miracle-Grow fertilizer spikes. Just a guess. Any advice on where to go from here? Since it has something growing and if itâs spider plant-could I remove the nearly dead part and plant pups from my other spider plant that is healthy? Thanks for any advice/direction/thoughts you may have đ đȘŽ
I just got this plant any recommendations?
Hello plan parents. Iâm really thankful for the discussion posts, insights, and overall recommendations within this community. Youâve help me navigate plant parenthood and now my plants, who I refer to as the women in my life, are starting to thrive. Simple things made a tremendous difference like putting plant where they thrive rather than where they may be aesthetically pleasing to me. Troubleshooting issues and being patient and letting my plants immune systems to work instead of being a helicopter plant parent. Thanks to you all. I really appreciate you and I am sharing a pic of the love of my life
Hello everyone! I just wanted to say I feel like Iâm really getting the grips with looking after my plants, theyâre doing so much better since downloading this app! I feel like a good plant mom!
