How often should I feed tropical indoor plant?

Hi there! So I rescued this Corn plant and have been growing it in water. It has done so well, when purchasing it did not have any leaves on top besides some brown dead ones. But now I would like to transition it to soil. Should I cut the brown from the bottom of this plant and just keep the small little white roots ?? Any advice please!

Does anyone have plant recommendations for Phoenix? Temperatures can reach up to 113 during summer. I have found that a lot of my plants are getting sunburnt or are stressing out because of the heat and dryness. Thank you!!

I bought billy (Abutilon hybridum) from a local, family owned business. I forgot to get soil at the time to repot and I struggled to keep him hydrated. He was so root-bound. Since I repotted, boom! I canât even count how may flower buds he has now.

My house plants all of a sudden have like fruit flies or nats flying around them. This one here I think is the source. I know I need to repot this with the correct soil which I will be doing asap. Anyway I can get rid of these bugs?? I absolutely hate bugs and I hate the thought of having to get rid of this new cactus because of them. Please help. Thanks Iâm advance!

Today on what is that plant??? Rescued 4 months ago with severe overwatering and root rot. It dropped almost all leaves and I thought it was a goner, but my 7 year old couldnât part with it. Now it is putting out tons of new leaves! Mature leaves are long, purplish green with silver. Serrated edges. Stems are similar to a begonia but leaf style/ branching more like a nerve plant. It was labeled âtwilight lushâ wanting shade and medium watering but seems to actually prefer mixed sun and light watering. Help a mama out. đŹ

i became so frustrated with fungus gnats and found out dish soap kills them instantly⊠i watered some plants with soapy water and i would spray it on the medium AND the foliageâŠ. and it obviously turned out to be really bad so i ended up killing 80% of my plant collectionđ«„đ«„đ«„đ«„đ©đ©đ©đ©đ©đ©
