hey! wondering if anyone can help me identify this plant, it’s an asplenium of some sort but any help as to what type would be appreciated! tried image searching but i’m getting varied answers! it’s for a friends birthday so want to write down how to look after it for them 🙂 thanks in advance!
Itty got move into one of my repurposed glass bottles (looks like a Pendleton whisky bottle 😋) because Peace Lillie’s are such water lovers ☺️ I recently split up her mama (Peace) so now she’s living amongst her new family ❤️
I found a gorgeous little Melanochrysum at my first plant swap over the weekend and I have an unhealthy attachment to this plant already😌 I’m terrified to do anything to it and risk killing my rarest (and now most expensive lol) specimen Melano growers: advice to keep her happy? Choice of pot / growing medium, amount of light you give, watering habits - anything helps I’ll be researching as much as I can while she works on acclimating to my house 🤞

posting this in a 2nd group for more feedback: my flapjack succulent is doing so incredibly well, today i noticed this at the bottom, could that be a third new plant sprouting?? he already has a bigger one growing below him now, but is three even possible?? second photo is a current pic for reference.

(Not my photo, from a local FB group) Big storm in my area last night with some pretty bad wind. Thankfully I only have about 6 plants on my patio that I was able to quickly move under coverings, unfortunately this person wasn’t as lucky. Does insurance cover weather related plant damage 😅
what should I do about these leaves burning?
Spider plant exploding with pups. I repotted this plant about 4 months ago. It had a few pups at the time. Since then it has exploded with pups. Any ideas on care and pruning? I water the plant and mist the pups regularly. I also dead head any spent blossoms.
I just wanted to share because I love it so much, there’s a plant game app called A Kinder World. You water your plants twice a day and you name them and watch them grow! It’s a relaxing little game that has to do with one of the things I know we all love- PLANTS!! 😁
Left us yesterday and right is today! Any idea why one of the leaves has completely changed positions?🌿 should I be worried?
When I repot my plants do I need to remove the old dirt first? I haven’t been doing this for fear of disturbing the roots. I have been putting them in a new, slightly larger, pot with their old dirt and then adding a little bit of new dirt. Am I doing this wrong?
I need to get my plants on a once weekly watering schedule. I spend a lot of time almost every morning checking on them and I really enjoy it but my work schedule is changing. The Planta schedule has been a bit awkward for me. What kind of schedule do you guys set up so that you can have one watering day a week?
