Hello! I just recently received this plant as a gift and it didn’t say what the plant was. I don’t know for sure what type of plant this is, but I for sure know that there are two plants together in this pot. One is a fern (I don’t know what type) and the other is a flowering plant (don’t know which type). I’m going to have a very hard time reporting these because there was no plastic thing inside the ceramic pot. Help!!! - with everything pls!

One of my ficus has had this since I got her about a year ago. It hasn’t sprouted any new leaves and I feel like it’s because this little piece got stuck or never finished growing. Should I cut it off? Is there anything I can do for it? She otherwise very healthy, she’s been repotted (about 4 months ago?), and doesn’t show any signs of root rot.

Hoping for some guidance from someone with more experience with Caladiums than I have. I bought her about a week ago from a nursery. She came home standing nice and tall and now she’s beginning to sag. Is this something I should stake up and reinforce, or is this ‘ok’ and I leave it alone? Also - silly question but is the new growth a new leaf or a flower coming in? Any help / tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just curious, do any of you own a Philodendron Tortum? Do you find it to be somewhat of a slow grower or is it just me?

Quick question, do I use sphagnum moss or peat moss with Leca? I’m reporting an orchid and I don’t remember if they said which type. Thanks!!!

This is what my gardenia bonsai looks like today. I took her out of her pot and she was completely root bound. 😟 I don’t think she was able to absorb any water at all. I trimmed back her roots and freed them up a little and then put her in some fast-draining palm potting mix I have because I think she needs more nutrients than she’ll get from akadama right now. I pruned the dead leaves and flowers, too. The flower you see in the photo was still a bud two hours earlier when I watered her. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I got to her in time and that she’ll like her new digs. 🤞🏼

Why is it that they are under exact circumstances bought two weeks apart and they look so different? Is there something I am missing? 🤔

hey y’all! im going out of town for the 4th of july for about a week and im super worried about some of my plants. (currently trying to find someone to come in and plant sit but probably not going to happen) any suggestions/ideas? (preferably one that doesn’t involve me buying a bunch of self watering timers :)]

How long does everyone wait to repot after purchasing a plant?
