How long does everyone wait to repot after purchasing a plant?

    Depends on where I got it! If it’s from a Lowe’s or Home Depot, I may do it right away. If it’s from a smaller store that specializes in plants, I wait a week or two (sometimes longer).

    Totally depends on plant and where it was bought from. Best to let them acclimate a week or so, but always based on if root bound or not. Anywhere from a week later to never. Some plants like to be in tight pants (pots).

    If the soil is moist or iffy in any kind of way, I repot right away. To me, the biggest risk is rooting plants 😔

    When I bring them home because critters and I prefer my own plant medium.
