Look at this succulent bowl I made! Itâs my first one ever, I think I did nicely!
Does anyone know what this is? It was growing on my balcony floor, literally rooting in the ground. Her will to live kind of makes me want to give her a pot lol *** edit to update that she got a pot, letâs see how it goes
Can plants rot from being over fertilized? Iâm trying to figure out what happened with two of my Alocasias that rotted and died today đđ I repotted them recently, waited 1-2 weeks after purchasing them as to not shock them. I made sure I used an appropriate pot size and a chunky mix. I watered when they were almost dry but did not over water. I did use a small amount of Osmocote and I also fertilized with the maintenance dose of Dyna Gro Foliage Pro with each watering. I have no idea what happened đ I am so sad. My Cuprea (picture for attention) was one of the victims and she was one of my wishlist plants. I only had her for less than a month đ
Hey yâall I have this beautiful ivy plant and many people have told me that it is a hard one to take care of. Any tips or advice to keep this baby alive?

How does everyone organize plant care supplies? I have extra decorative pots, various tools, and soil amendments and I can never keep them organized.
This week I re-learned TWICE a valuable lesson learned the hard way! 1) NEVER put neem oil or pest spray of any kind (even the DIY soap one) on your air-plants. They absorb everything through there leaves as it they were roots. They will die. 2) NEVER put Neem oil on your succulents. Powdery mildew or not. My giant Echeveria is now on deaths door. (Photo on right) Found this funny post online to confirm my lesson: đ€Ł
I told myself I was going to take a break from buying plants for one month. One week in and I'm doing pretty well. I went to the garden shop and I didn't buy any plants...only these cactus from the clearance shelf. I'm really proud of myself! đ€Łđ

Anyone else prefer purchasing baby plants to watch them grow and flourish into full size? I honestly prefer it because it makes me feel more accomplished in growing my plants! Also Iâve heard that you can prop a string of turtles with just the leaves? Iâve been trying to prop this one still attached to its stem but I havenât had any roots. Should I take off the leaves or keep it as is? Any other tips are welcome :)
