hi! i’m house sitting for my friend right now and for some reason his ZZ plant is yellowing, but it’s only the leaves on one of the stems. he said he hasn’t been overwatering so i’m not rly sure what’s happening, so any suggestions are welcome!!
I have all my indoor and outdoor plants listed and have become very overwhelmed. I think bc of the outdoor ones. How do you keep up with water and fertilize? And what’s the best fertilizer for outdoor plants, trees and shrubs?
I wish we could upload videos. I just made my first reel unboxing a new cutie and I am so proud of it 🥰 Anyway, here’s the new baby! It is a pink variegated Bambino 🩷

Got this gorgeous black velvet Alocasia and I’m very nervous lol, I’ve done my research and I know they can be temperamental.. any extra tips for keeping her alive?
I suppose this is a dumb question.... but.... do you always need to let a houseplant's soil dry out before watering it to prevent root rot? I know with succulents you are supposed to let the soil dry out completely between waterings, but I had kinda thought with most other plants (depending on what plant it is, of course) the soil should stay moist (but never soaking unless you have a wetland plant) a couple inches below the surface! Is that right?? I'm a little confused!
Any tips pls for keeping him healthy indoors!
Hey everyone! I know it’s probably bedtime for most of you but if you can take a quick moment and help me with my spider plant that would be great! The leaves are yellowing on both the spider plants in the pot and they’re both in direct, bright sunlight, I’ve been watering regularly. Could somebody help? The soil does hold water so it could be root rot?
Here’s some of the new growth I’ve seen in my plants recently🌱 Shoutout to the new fertilizer I started using a couple weeks ago, Joyful Dirt!
Any tips on how to care for a Gasteria flow. I bought mine from Lowe’s and was told to water it any time it gets squishy. Is this correct? Also there is discoloration toward the bottom of the plant but I don’t think it’s rotted is this normal
