Got this gorgeous black velvet Alocasia and I’m very nervous lol, I’ve done my research and I know they can be temperamental.. any extra tips for keeping her alive?

    Good luck is all I have to say lol not in a sarcastic way…I’ve just had my own alocasia drama. All I know is keep away from direct sunlight and be sooooo careful watering. I believe this plant is ok in/prefers a smaller pot….so I’d just leave it and pray 🙏🏻 lol

      Same. Mine died. I’m not exactly sure why. 😩😩😩 Other than they are very temperamental. All my other Alocasia’s are fine 😂

    Mine seem to like chunky, well draining soil. I got both of mine small, and I have trouble getting more than one leaf at a time. Yours is beautiful!
