Have I cold shocked my new plant? I bought this guy about a week ago and he was in the car in ~50 degree weather for a few hours. Since then, heâs lost about half of his leaves- theyâre just falling off with the stems attached. Looks like the leaf stems are rotting, although Iâve inspected the whole plant, including the roots, and Iâve seen no pests or rot anywhere. Help! Edit: I have transferred him into water. Hopefully he will do ok.

Dear All.. advice needed asap.. going out of town for a week. Gave all the kids a good watering so not worried about them being thirsty whilst Iâm away but what should I do about lighting? I can leave the blinds open but the natural lighting is not enough. Should I leave the grow lights on? Whatâs worse, 6 days with minimal lighting or 6 days of 24 hours of light ?? TIAâŠ

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my pest control regime⊠itâs super easy and effective for thrips and spider mites. I add clove (10-20 drops), rosemary (10-20 drops) and mint (5-10 drops) essential oils to water and mist weekly. When I had a thrip outbreak in the summer I watered with the mix for two waterings and it was the only thing that worked đ€đȘŽ

Wondering if my ruby cascade is getting enough light. Looks a little etiolated to me and I think the reds aren't as saturated as they could be - but I'm not sure. She's about three feet from an east window, but I could put her in a hanger 2 feet closer. Opinions please!

Rescued from IKEA. Initially straight up, but for the first month, it tilted directly towards the sunlight. Was told to rotate, but that was about 3 months ago. Dont know if itâs okay and hibernating for the winter, or thereâs a real problem. Please help, thanks.

My Calathea isnât doing so great and Iâm not sure why! She was about 3 feet from a window for the last couple of months so I moved her to the window sill and the leaves are getting even crunchier on the edges⊠help đŹ
