Getting my garden ready,
Is there any experts that can help guide me in preparing for winter?
As the season change and it cools down Iād like to know which flowers are best grown indoors and will have me prepared for season?
My plan is to plant flowers and have them ready to be repotted by next season , Iād love for tips and tricks on growers guides and watering tips.

Can anyone tell me what these brown splotches on my ficus elastica/rubber plant mean? I just wanna double check that itās not a sign of something like thrips, edema, or rust.
Iām new to this plant, and I believe they all arrived with this on the underside of their leaves, but only noticed it recently on my ficus elastica burgundy, which led me to checking the others and finding the same patterning on them all. Aside from it, theyāve all seemingly been healthy, and all opened new leaves within a week of bringing them home. Please let me know if itās just a previous watering problem. Any help is very greatly appreciated āŗļø.

Two new leaves from a monstera I rescued a few months ago. Is two new leaves from the same petiole normal???

Is this a fungus? Can I do anything to help it?
EDIT: Tried to clear it away and it was cobwebby.
It seems otherwise to be doing ok!

Fairly new plant parent here!
This wee beauty has grown a lot over the last few months and is now 10 inches tall!
Itās still in the 3 inch pot that I bought it in as a wee 3 inch plant. Should I be repotting it into something bigger?
I can see a small amount of roots wrapping round but not much.

Brought this new plant home today! Excited for what is to come on our journey :)

My teneke tree is turning pink!
I didnāt realize it could do this, I thought you had to purchase the ruby teneke tree to have pink leaves! Very cool

Generally, what is the overall best window for plants? I have an east and south window in my room. Iām getting a plant stand to put all my plants on and I want to know which one would be the best.

Hi! New here, first post. I'm so glad I found this app and community! I've been motivated to correctly identify all of my plants, most of them gifts so I'm not exactly sure what they are. This one in particular I've thought was a succulent. I just took it out of the cute dinosaur pot it's lived in for 3 years (please don't judge me) and after looking at the roots, I still have no idea, Google has no idea, this app has no idea. So, does anyone know what this little guy is? Leaves are thick like a succulent. Yes, my cats have snacked in the past.. Thank you!!

How big of a shock will it give my spider plant if I move it from an east window to a north window? I have been wanting to get a plant stand for a while now and I finally got one and I would like to move all my plans over there. So Iām just wondering if my spider plant will be OK with the change in sunlight.

Iām sorryā¦I feel like I am bugging everyone with all my questions yet, I have another oneā¦sorryā¦
I have a Monstera that has huge aerial roots. Iāve heard to put the end of them back in the dirt, Iāve heard to put the ends in water, Iāve heard to cut them off to get more leaves to grow, and Iāve heard to just leave them alone. my Monstera is out of control, because I did not know when I got her that she is a climberā¦now sheās a wanderer. I put the pool noodle on the edge of the pot so it wouldnāt make marks in her stem. So what do I do with the aerial roots and how do I get her to start climbing without hurting her massive stems? Iām scared to propagate her because Iām just a beginner at this. She seems happy. I just donāt want her to die. Sheās my favorite plant!

Hi I've just deadheaded one of my sunflowers but have I done it right? There is a small growth on stem and I cut it just above it. My other one is just about to open!

To repot or not to repot, that is the question.
Hello. I bought this little guy at H.D. In the beginning of August (1/2 price of course.)
Some info about 1., 2, 3., and 4.:
1. Is the plant, not root bound, not in any pot.
2. Is the plastic nursery pot the plant grew in.
3. Is a glazed terracotta pot with no drainage holes that 2. was inside when purchased.
4. Is a one inch wider & one inch shorter self watering pot (in a pot) compared to item 2 size. It has no holes on the outer pot but I could see when Iād need to pour excess water out to make sure itās not sitting in water.
Should I:
A. Leave him be as 1. inside of 2., and 2. inside of 3.
B. Drill some holes in the bottom of 3. and put 1. In 3.
C. Repot 1. into 4.

What is the best way to change the acidity of the soil my hydrangea plant is in? We bought it and it was yellow and blue and now it's red and purple, which is pretty but just not the colors I wanted lol. Any advice would be appreciated.

1st: Opinions on bottom watering?
2nd: When bottom watering, (specifically when fertilizing) do you keep the same water and add or drain after each plant?

Goodevening planta community,
Hereās an update because the last pictures were blurry. If anyone could give me tips and tricks for taking care of these beautiful clone flowers.
I have a LED,
fan on them from already 4 days now counting today,
ive recently put them outside for full direct sunlight as it clouded up for less than 20 minutes.
How do you think they are looking?
These are In Home Genetics that are propagated. Is my setup good enough ?
How often should I water, should the soil be moist or dry . How do I know itās too much water? šš»ā¤ļø

POV : Decided to plant queen palm tree also known as syagrus romazoffiana or jeriva . Itās native to South America , and it was introduced throughout as an ornamental tree. They may reach up to 60 ft tall .
Iām just about to hunt for 5 more and put them in a straight line.
