Help!! Does this look like root rot?? I just replanted this boat lily a little less than a month ago so I really don’t wanna stress it out again but concerned with how these roots look! Thoughts? Advice?

    I wouldn’t panic just yet! 😊 Brown/tan roots don’t automatically mean root rot, especially on a boat lily. I’d be more concerned if the roots are mushy/slimy, smell bad, or the outer layer basically slides off when touched. From the photo, the visible roots still look pretty intact to me. Since you just repotted less than a month ago, I’d probably avoid disturbing her again unless the plant itself is declining or the soil is staying wet for a really long time. One of the blessings/curses of clear pots is we can suddenly see EVERYTHING and start questioning it 😂🌱

      Right?!? I just started to transition some plants to the clear nursery pots, so I will wait it out because the plant itself is doing great! Thanks for the advice 😃😃

    Those are healthy roots. Some plants' roots develop hairy-looking micro-roots. Some species always do that, and others only do it when conditions are good. Boat lilies do it as a regular thing.
