Is anybody else getting this message when you are strictly watering per Plantaās advice? It happened twice yesterday and now the first plant that came up to be watered today when I clicked completed this message popped up.

Aimee loves plantsI feel like Iāve gotten that before too. Plantaās watering schedule is sometimes a bit aggressive for my plants. I try checking them if they need it before I just water blindly. And if it feels like they donāt then I ask it to remind me in two days again. After I do that is when Iāve seen that message typically that Iāve been overwatering on my own. š¤¦š»āāļø I feel like my one pothos was just being too wet and I was worried it would develop fungus gnats.

Itās been 100Ā° here so I have to keep up with my outdoor plants by checking them daily. But for the most part, Planta is good and Iām able to follow its advice but itās just confusing when that is what Iām doing and itās telling me Iām overwatering.

OK, I think something is definitely wrong because when you go into the Care info for this particular plant, it says to water every six days. It came up to water today gave me the message that Iām watering it too much but when I look, itās going to tell me to water it again tomorrow! Definitely something going wacky with the app here

plantgeekthey have an overwatering message?? š i've only seen the underwatering one because the planta schedule is trying to drown my plants. snooze button is my favorite button on this app.

For most of my clients, it will eventually adjust accordingly. Like if you donāt water it because itās wet it will adjust the watering to be further apart. I just donāt understand why if a plant inside the app is saying it needs to be watered every six days why it had me water it today and itās saying itās going to be watered again tomorrow after it just gave me the overwatering message!

Itās done strange things like this before. Hopefully itāll work itself out, but I do always check plants myself and just donāt go by what the app says

Yes, I agree with all that it can lead to overwatering. So I mostly use the watering prompt as ācheck soilā prompt and decide before watering blindly

TabbyTaiIf Planta suggests watering check first. I frequently snooze watering because my plants arenāt ready yet. It suggests often but I tend to think of it as ācheck if it needs waterā rather than ādefinitely water nowā

Plant Lives MatterYes! Been getting these alerts a lot lately when my schedules havenāt changed. Not sure what happened. I also noticed a few months ago that many of my schedules changed to have me water much more often than it shouldāve, so I had to manually delay them.

NikillerI used to only get that notification (or the opposite one) for one or two plants that werenāt doing too good and needed better soil mixes. Now that I have everything on lock, I havenāt had that pop up in forever. Suddenly five of my plants that I water per the schedule (which is also just the right time for when they need water) that I need to contact dr planta because Iām watering too much. I have an alocasia that spans from my living room to my office and needs a gallon of water every 2 days. I was 2 days late this week for it and I got the ātoo oftenā when I watered it LATE. I think itās a bug on the app lately
