Common Ivy Help Please! My common ivy seems to have trouble maintaining leaves. It sprouts new leaves but the new leaves would die off quite quickly. The stems now look a bit sorry for itself, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Have you given it fertilizer? I wonder if trimming it back would help it? Then it could concentrate its energy on a smaller area to replenish? Iām no pro just guessing.

0 gillningar I keep mine much further away from the window. Itās in the center of the house where it has bright, indirect light. It does like to be misted as well. Iām still thinking fertilizer will help. And trimming it back so it can bulk up instead of getting more leggy. As someone suggested cut it back thoughtfully so you can propagate!! BTW Ivy is a difficult plant so donāt be hard on yourself! Good luck. š šŖ“ š

1 gillaYou can propagate what you trim off. The plant should have well draining soil. But it also likes to stay moist but not waterlogged. Bright indirect light
