Help!!! Old plant that i cant tell if the roots are dead. Can I fix this or should i bin it??? Any tips are super welcome as I’m a teen learning how to care for plants.

    It doesn’t look like there is anything left to save IMO.

    I think I see a teeny bit of green (?!)…check the roots. If they’re white and OK, chop everything off above the soil line and start over. See if you can bring it back to life.

    If you decide to try saving it: it can't photosynthesize until it makes new leaves, so it won't use much water. Watch the soil and only water when it needs more. Keep any leaves that show a tiny bit of green; it may still be able to use them. Exhale onto any green parts occasionally to give it some CO2. Play music or talk to it. Plants like sound. As for music choice, go for something with a strong beat; they seem to like the vibrations. New growth will be extremely delicate so don't touch until it's visibly recovering its strength
