I came back from a weekend trip to my voodoo Lilly having gnats:(( im new to indoor plants my mom said something about gnat powder but does anyone have any tips or advice it would be very very appreciated

    I soak 1/2 of a mosquito dunk in my one gallon watering can at least over night and use that to water the plants. That kills the babies in the soil. Making sure the plant dries up appropriately between waterings can help. But I’ve found in the summer time they just show up 🤷‍♀️ Yellow sticky traps help with the adults. I’ve had good luck getting rid of 95% of all my summer time gnats this way. A few will still be flitting about occasionally, and that’s when I know I need a fresh mosquito dunk.

    You can apply some cinnamon on top! That helped when my plants had gnats!

    Great looking plant! I’ve not run into a gnat problem myself, so not much help…sorry. Best of luck tho, getting rid of them!
