I’ve been thinking about moving some of my plants that require a lot of sunlight outside to get more than my windows can offer. what’s the best steps for transitioning them outside?

we wait for it to be mostly above 55 at night and then we just put them out there under something so they don’t get rained on if they start acting upset we bring them back in some plants do amazing and some are lazy babys who wants to stay inside

it’s mostly my succulents that i want to bring outside. they are doing alright inside but i just think they could do better being outside on my sunny deck area

If your planning on bringing replanting them outside than first bring it out in its original pot and then move when it’s getting a good reaction to the sun!

I was probably going to keep them in their pots but just let them get more sunlight

I move them to a shady spot outside (same or a little brighter than current spot indoors) for a few days to acclimate. Then if they are doing well, after a week or so, I move them to a slightly brighter spot for a few days. I keep doing that until I have them where I want them. I’m sure you know this but keep rain and sprinklers in mind for wherever you move them. Also, not all succulents like the same light. If your plant gets burned, move it to a shadier spot and keep it there. If it is stretching move it to a brighter location.
