Question - although Iāve been using planta for a while now it has always thrown me how it says to water and then in a couple of days it tells me to fertilize that same plant if Iām using liquid fertilizer in water, am I watering my plant again? How are you guys handling that? I always hold back just for the sake of overwatering. Picture just because Iāve finally mastered keeping succulents alive! š¤£ š
I use houseplant fertilizer in my water and do as the app says. If the plantās soil is still wet, I hit āsnoozeā and it reminds me two days later.

Iāve been adding 1/4 strength fertilizer to every watering and I removed the reminder from my list

I have the same issue. Sometimes the same plant is on the water list and the fertilizer list for the same day. So I now check the fertilizer list first. If I complete that task then it comes off the water listā¦ I think. But it gets confusing and it comes up sooner than I think it should. So always check soil first.

I use 1/2 strength fertilizer in virtually all of my watering and completely ignore the fertilization reminder. I use that to check if it needs water and often hold off. The only plants I donāt fertilize lightly with each watering are my carnivorous plants.
