Does anyone have plants outside? Any tips because I want to put them out. Where do you put it? I have a deck that gets direct sun for most of the day and I have mostly tropical plants. TIA!

I don’t, but if you have mostly tropicals and your space is direct sun for most of the day, I don’t know how well they’ll do. Direct sun, especially afternoon and on, can be too aggressive/intense for tropicals and they’ll burn. Do you have a way of filtering the light? A sun shade or something? Because then they’d probably do quite well with so much indirect bright light.

Tata’s PlantsI have a deck I put some on. I also have a front garden but I’ll bring some of my pots in during winter. I find using the plant section of the app once I’ve set up an area so it knows the light specifications really helpful. It will tell me if the plant is good for the area or not.

This is my back balcony and I chose plants that the birds and possums don’t like - they ate all my seedlings but that also are quite comfortable being outdoors in winter!

AcesHighI have over 100 plants outside, I live in central Florida with crazy sun. BUT, if they are used to being indoors then I would take it slow and place them outside in shade first, then a few hours in morning and evening sun and increase hours in sun until it gets used to the full sun without burning leaves.

Andreas_faultBeware of creatures that might think your plants are delicious...I can't put my plants outside bc the squirrels will eat them!
