My pumpkin plant I grew from a seed, has grown very fast. Plus another sprout with its first leaf.

Weekdays with these lights I've seen in some posts?
0 gillningarCan you elaborate on what you mean.
0 gillningarRed lighting? I've also seen some blue lighting?
0 gillningarIt is a grow light that uses both blue light and red light to make a purple light.
0 gillningarThere are red grow lights and there are blue grow lights.
0 gillningarSorry about the typo! Lol
0 gillningarSome people prefer the red-blue/purple lights which is supposed to target certain stages of growth. The white ones are supposed to be full spectrum that will hit every growing stage. I have both and to be honest, my guys seem to do fine, as in appearing as if they grow - it's just not as noticeable day to day with the blue-red. Under the full spectrum, they do grow tad bit faster. So to me, it's whatever you prefer. I got both when I started to really want to keep my plants alive. Lol There are so many different opinions on them.
1 gillaOoh ok! Thank you!
1 gillaMy imperial elephant ear is growing very quickly under my purple grow light.
1 gillaMy daughter has those red/purple lights throughout her home and I dislike them. Hard on the eyes and difficult to see anything. I use full spectrum and my plants are doing ten times better than hers. Plus I can see things better.
1 gillayou will get used to the purple grow lights until you don’t notice them. They only hurt your eyes, because how they mimic sunlight and it’s intensity. I am planning on getting a full spectrum grow light, maybe a 5 or 4 header.
