I’m new to succulents. What do you do with all the babies you propagate? I love the idea of propagating, but do you sell them, use them as gifts? Keep them?
2 gillningarI sell some and give them as gift too but I'm going to make a hanging basket out of these when they get bigger. They are really easy to propagate and lots of fun doing it. Hope you decide to try it.
2 gillningarI just got a massssssive succulent from cvs that called to me begging to be propagated so we’ll see where that takes me!
2 gillningarWOW how nice 😊 I’m also new to succulents my daughter gifted me a succulent variety for Mother’s Day and I love it! I haven’t touched it since I got it but noticed today that the hen and chicks died and one of the other plants has curling brown tips! I’ve not touched or watered the plant since I got it for Mother’s Day, the soil is still very damp I’m wondering if the plant was overwatered from where she purchased it what do you think?
1 gillaYes it is probably over watered and that can cause root rot so I would take them out of the pit and check the roots. Take off any mushy roots and rinse to good one-off then I would spray the good roots with 3 to 1 peroxide mix and repot in new soul. Succulents don't need a ton of water and if they are still that wet they will probably keep dying. Good luck
1 gillaThank you so very much 🥀🌻🌷🌺💐🌹
1 gillaYes they should just set them aside and let them do there thing. Lol
