So, in a last ditch effort to save my very sad Bird of Paradise, I completely chopped the plant and trimmed the roots. I put the roots in a jar of water and have gotten this growth (about 3cm) in only 3 days! I donât know if this is the start of a new stem (itâs unfurling a bit like a leaf) does anyone know whatâs going on here? I donât want to get my hopes up and have it be nothing! đ
