Sooooo planta says I have 21 plants, but really Iām closer to 60. How many do you have compared to what planta says, and why donāt you list them all individually, even if they arenāt in the same āsiteā?? Edit for clarificationā¦. None of my plants are in the ground or outdoor hanging annual baskets. I donāt count yard plants as plants for Planta personally. Those require completely different care lol.
I usually avoid double listings since I get confused easily š¹ So for the three monstera adasoniisā¦ Only one is in my app! Same goes for propagations and cuttings - if I have multiple I just make one profile š„° Truthfully I donāt know how many plants I haveā¦ and I donāt want to know! š

Thatās so smart!! I ended up having to label the actual plants and give them nicknames in the app for my propagations
1 gilla Makes it a lot easier to manage watering and maintenance! If one gets done, they all do š¤©
2 gillningar I have indoor and outdoor plants and also take care of my mums plants but donāt log her plants or the outdoor ones as theyāre usually only limited season annuals It hurts my head trying to count them lol
0 gillningar Oh I wasnāt including anything actually planted in the ground or annual hanging baskets.

I list all of mine, except for maybe a few that are just 2-4 of the same exact plant, I just group them up by care type, all my airplants have a site, all my succulents have a site, all my regular indoor plants have a site, and my outdoors have a site. All my indoor plants are technically in one single site, my living room under my grow lights by the windows, but this makes it easy to task all of one plant at once. My count is probably only 10-20 plants off because Iām ocd about a lot of things

I pretty much list all my plants except propagation because they arenāt technically a plant yet and I may just be added them to an already existing plant or giving/selling them

116 in Planta, probably close to 200 IRL if you include seedlings and cuttings. I see no reason to add more than one entry for propagations. They will have the same requirements and get treated at the same time. Also, as I gift one, no need to update the app.

I'm up to 112 in specified areas. I still have about 20 or so more that are outside. As I repot them, they get added. I've still got some work to doš

I have more than what Planta says. I havenāt listed my trio of monsteras individually because I havenāt separated them. I will say that I have one older one and then the trio and I did actually mix them up early on when I was taking progress photos. I have three different cape sundews and those are listed individually because my kids named one of them Bob and the other one Carl. I would list my propagation separately, but I donāt have premium.

As I notice I add themā¦ I donāt want this experience to be stressful.
3 gillningarPlanta says 54 but Iām definitely over 100. I have about 20 aloe outside that I donāt include. I started adding them all to the app and it got pretty tedious, so I stopped. I plan to get them all on here eventually
