A relatively new ZZ is rather leaning. I took this from a larger ZZ I was repotting. I’m propping it up with the wood block behind it now. I wanted to gift this to someone but want to make sure it’s going to be OK first. Any tips or advice for this?
Need support. A bamboo stake or some kind of pole. Easy fix

Hi there, if you’ve just repotted it, the roots haven’t had a chance to firmly establish themselves in with soil yet so your zz is likely to be a little wobbly for a while. You can certainly temporarily stake this - just be really careful not to poke and damage the rhizome (which I’m sure you noticed when repotting, looks like a potato!). Give it a little bit of time to adjust if you have time. After a few weeks it should stop shifting and the stake can be removed. Or you can leave it in, it won’t hurt the plant. Best of luck!

Make sure if you moved it from water to soil to keep the soil somewhat damp
