Hi, I’m a little confused about overwintering. Could someone help me understand? Planta is saying my cyclamen doesn’t need any fertilizer right now because of overwintering. I honestly have no idea what it means. Thanks!

i don’t really know about the fertilizer but i do know that over watering means watering too often not too much. When you do water you want to soak your plant but drainage is the key

Overwintering means how when you have this plant outside, when it begins to frost or cool outside, you bring the plant inside because you dont want your plant to die outside.

"Applying fertilizer in the wrong season can cause increased tender new growth that can be damaged, especially if applied in cold weather in late fall or in winter. So it is best to stop fertilizing during dormant seasons. Additionally, in zones that can be in danger of a late freeze, it's best to wait until mid-spring" according to lsuagcenter.com
